The blade is solid and sharp AF.. there is definitely two types of steel used and it says “modern damascus” which is welded. Yeah, they put a fake damascus pattern but its REALLY hard steel that keeps a great edge. The rest of the gadgets are functional. The thing costs $20.. I don’t know why people complain so much. It’s definitely a MORE than solid tool for $20. Everything is pretty decent for the price point. I was actually pleasantly surprised with the quality.

The build is strong light is even more powerful than anticipated! Both regular blade and seatbelt cutter EXTREMELY sharp! Saw a couple reviews saying emergency blade wasn't sharp mine cut 1/8 thick canvas paper like butter! The fire starter does have a layer of protection but once you pass that layer the sparks are immense! I personally couldn't be happier with the awesome Damascus blade and strong body! Feels great in hand with PLENTY of grip yet light and efficient! Besides spyderco Albatross is my new favorite knife! I'll 100% be buying other versions as I'm a collector. Note ONLY downside is belt pouch is kinda cheaply made BUT it comes in AMAZING ALBATROSS BOX & has a pocket clip so no big deal!

Nice knife, appreciate the extra features like the light and flint. Installing the batteries isn’t the easiest.

I ordered this for my son-in-law's birthday and now I wanna keep it 😂. The Damascus is beautiful; I'm gonna oil it a lil before I give it to him to really make the pattern shine thru. It even came with extra batteries for the lil flashlight. All in all its beautiful, well made, and super handy with all its lil gadgets. P.s. I am gonna give it to him....I'm just gonna have to order me one now🥰

Fake Damascus which came as no surprise. The little flashlight is very cool: extra batteries included, bright enough to illuminate the cars engine compartment at night, and magnetized very well so that it stays secure in its handle compartment. The light is activated buy turning the exposed end and its very easy to turn on/off while still in the handle, lessening the risk of loosing it. Very small so i recommend leaving it in the handle unless absolutely necessary. Not a good knife for a kid. Decent enough blade for utility. GOOD FOR THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT OR TOOLBOX, NOT EDC HOWEVER.

I've been looking for a decent knife for a few years now. Every single one I found was either flimsy and dull or way too expensive for what I needed. This one is sharp, opens easy, the lock actually works, and it's small enough to carry with you but still large enough to actually be functional. The window breaker and seatbelt cutter are really just fluff, and they could probably bring the size of the handle down a bit if they'd drop those two items. If you're just looking for a decent knife to occassionally cut string, twine, rope, etc, then this is perfect. It feels solid and will never leave you feeling like you're holding a piece of junk, unless it's the end of the rope you just cut off. The magnetic LED is a nice bonus as it means you'll always have a flashlight on you.

I love the fact that this knife is kind of big, so people can clearly see that I'm carrying it and quickly realize that I'm armed. I keep it clipped in the front pocket of my jeans and all I have to do is pull my jacket back to reveal it.The other day I had to walk home in the dark due to issues with the city bus (thanks coronavirus) and this skeevy guy kept trying to approach me. There was no reason other than he just wanted to harass a young woman who was alone at night. If he was lost or needed help, there was a gas station twenty feet from me. There was no innocent reason whatsoever to be walking up on me, a lone woman, in the dark.He tried to walk up to me and tried several times to block my progress. I snatched this knife out of my pocket pretty quick and gave him a look that said for him to leave me alone. He walked by me after that.I also carry pepper spray, but it was dark. He wouldn't have seen me waving the pepper spray, but he saw that knife clear as day.Crime rates are rising because the streets are empty at night due to the quarantine. No one is around when it's dark, only essential workers like me who may have to travel alone. This is the best time to carry a weapon. I would advise that every essential worker get a pocket knife if they have to be out working late while this is going on.I bought my knife before the quarantine since, as a woman who travels alone a lot, I'm always in danger. Since, as a woman, I'm always in danger . . . But I never had to actually pull my knife on someone until this crap began. It's unreal.
