They worked. It's all you can ask for when you are working on an older grill and need new igniters. I was able to tweak them to work, and they do just that

perfect fit and easy to install

I needed a new igniter - the Blackstone one never really worked. This is not only a much nicer igniter (with a real, easy-to-push button!), but the supplied igniter electrodes and wires can also be fitted easily to a Blackstone grill. See the picture, but basically: - feed the igniter wire and electrode through the hole in the two panel next to each burner (where the existing electrode is for the first burner).. There's the hole you can see, and one behind it). - Feed the electrode partly into the holes and clip the end of the electrode cage onto the burner as shown. Note this is a six-output igniter - so connect electrodes in pairs, and discard the grounding ring used by original igniter. I hooked up four, leaving one pair of terminals on the igniter free. It's great having it work every time, and not needing to start with the first burner. There's a four output version of this unit, but it's leads say they're only long enough for the 28" grill, so may not be long enough for a 36" grill (though I haven't checked). Safety tip: Make sure the battery is removed from igniter when fitting or removing. This unit generates enough voltage to jump across the unconnected terminals and can deliver a good jolt if you accidentally hit the igniter button.

I installed this item on a 6 burner commercial stove top and it works great. Much better than matches.
