Age 85 and arthritis are the problem rather than the device.

I hesitated owing to some negative reviews. To put the record straight. Ginger: chops easily. Cleaning: easy peasy. Same as it’s bigger brother.

Absolute rubbish. I chopped some onion and put it in this to dice it finer - it couldn’t even turn, the blade didn’t chop. I tried herbs, this did nothing. The blade isn’t sharp enough and you can’t turn it with enough force for it to be effective. I can’t think of a single use for this in its current state.

So this seemed like such a great idea. And I was very excited to be able to use this. Then we needed onions chopping for dinner and I thought well this is the perfect thing to practice chopping me an onion. So before we even put the onion in, I had to chop the onion to fit in and then it wasn't chopping properly. And although it didn't work very well. It was very fun to play with.

A small footprint chopper, to hold small items. The operation is simple, turn the top cover to unlock and open the lid, place the item in, lock the lid back in place and then twist the base left and right to chop the item. The more you turn it, the finer the chop. There is a flat blade at the top to stop food sticking to the lid. I have had mixed results with this, soft items it seems to chop well, the harder items like carrots and onions not so good. It seems to leave chunks and they settle where the blades do not reach. It is also not that easy to clean as you are not supposed to put the base in water, so you just have to wipe it by hand. It's OK.

Been using for months now. The size can work for 2-4 cloves of garlic with 1/2-1 inch of ginger. Perfect for a small curry prep!

I owned an earlier Zyliss herb cutter which was very simple to use and clean. Unfortunately I lost the important bit - the handle, so was on the lookout for a replacement. This particular one is apparently discontinued, so I decided to go for this rotary one. It arrived OK, but looking at it, I decided that it wouldn't last as long as the previous one, and the rotary action wouldn't help in this. Sorry, Zyliss, it's heading back to Amazon, unused and in its original packaging!

Selten bin ich begeistert von einem Produkt in der Preisklasse. Gestern bestellt, heute bekommen. Sofort getestet, 1x Knoblauch ( deshalb habe ich es gekauft) 2 Knoblauch Zehen eingelegt ( geschält und in 3teile geschnitten) ein paar mal mit der Hand hin und her gedreht - fertig,....perfekte kleine Würfel (eben nicht gequetscht sondern geschnitten) genau wie ich es gewünscht habe. Danach nur zum testen Zwiebel stücke eingelegt ,....ebenfalls perfekt,....mehr als ich mir erwartet habe. Praktischer als jeder elektro hexler , klein handlich, platzsparend,....auch gut fur Segelyacht und Wohnmobil,....bestelle gleich 2 dazu

Petit, pratique et efficace, de plus facile à laver, que demander de plus !

Pas mal mais coupe un peu trop gros à mon goût.

Für die Reise war es praktisch, konnte für mein Baby Obst und Gemüse zerkleinern allerdings ist es sehr klein es passen da 2 Aprikosen gerade so. Also ca. 150 ml Inhalt. Für die Hausküche kann ich es nicht empfehlen, weil es sehr klein ist aber für den Urlaub oder unterwegs kann man's gut gebrauchen.
