Absolutes

This album is still one of my favorite music albums to date! I bought this in 2010 and this music ages like fine wine. So deep, dreamy, and romantic. The instrumentals fill my soul with life as well as the vocal singing. This music tells a story using lyrics that I can relate to. I'm sure some of us have gone through love and loss before as well as finding our way through life. When I was 20 when I bought this album, it was such a confusing time in my life. Listening to this music put me in a peaceful state of mind. I truly feel that this band is underrated and there won't be another album made like it. It has a very sincere and intense tone in every one of the songs. I see that the band, Barcelona made more music after 2010, but it's pop n fresh type music. Nothing like this first album, which is disappointing. Still, I really appreciate this album so much.

This is a fantastic album. I put off getting it for some time because I thought the songs seemed slow and boring in the 30 second clips here. But then I got a chance to hear the whole album from end to end and the second it was over I bought a copy for myself. It may be one of the best albums I've ever purchased. The songs do take their time, so if that bothers you then this may not be a good fit, but that pace has a way of making the music so powerful when it peaks, even though its not hard or fast. Its just wonderful sound that wraps you up and takes you with it. I almost feel like its alive some how and it really is an experience. At least it was for me. My Favorites are "Falling out of trees," "First floor people," and "please don't go."Just a fantastic album for anyone looking for haunting, emotionally powerful music that is real and heart felt.I can't help it, I just have to say one more time that it is fantastic.

Hey Moose, Just out of sheer curiosity, how long was this cd in your music collection before my lazy butt decided to look for it? I kept on reminding myself to get a copy, but here i am years later knocking on your door, ("this guy, man") Thanks So Much for holding on to a copy for me, and getting it in my hands daze early! i really do appreciate it. ("Yeah, It's got my fave tracks, AND it's the '007 recording, you killed it Moose!!")

Please don't go is an awesome, very moving piece of music. Bought the CD for this song was plesently surprised that I enjoyed the entire CD.

Bought this CD because the song "Please Don't Go" was recommended as a song that makes you feel calm especially if you have anxiety. It turned out that many other songs were just beautiful and I am really enjoying this CD. The recommended song for feeling at peace definitely works.

I was looking for some new music and came across this band. Barcelona has put together a great CD and I am very happy having picked this one up. I didn't know what to expect when I first listened to the disk but I was pleasantly aware of a sound, in my ear, that reminded me of Keane. I highly recommend this band to anyone and look forward to more Barcelona in the future.

First off, i ordered this cd without checking them out. but a few days after i looked them up in itunes, and i wasnt sure if i would listen to them. but their style reminds me a lot of aaron marsh, and copeland. so ive been hooked after the first time all the way through. these guys put out great music.

Great album, but mostly for the song "Get up". There are about 4 or 5 other very good songs on this album. A quality band; they deserve to be better known.

...als ich mal wieder gezwungenermassen "vampire diaries" mit meiner allerwertesten gucken musste, horchten meine klapsdeckel plötzlich auf:ein song in einer dramatisch-traurigen szene wurde gespielt,der mir langsam aber sicher einen gaensehautschauer über den rücken laufen liess..."come back when you can"schnell gegoogelt und auf youtube fand ich dann die dazugehörige band mit dem ein wenig unpassenden und irreführenden namen "barcelona".. damit verbindet man doch eher eine flamencogruppe aus katalanien als eine us truppe aus der city of grunge seattle,washingtongleich darauf bei amazon.de ins album "absolutes" reingehört:jeder song ein volltreffer!klasse catchy melodien,coole atmosphärische arrangements mit schöner delaygeschwängerter gitarre, mal langsam mal midtempo,dazu der gefühlvolle gesang-hammer!super album,was besonders gut abends bei kerzenlich rüberkommt,weil es wie gesagt eine tolle entspannende atmosphäre hat,ähnlich "xy" von coldplay..einige der songs von "absolutes" erinnern mich vom stil her irgendwie an die briten...wer auf gefühlvolle musik steht:zugreifen!

一番最後の　Ｐｌｅａｓｅ　Ｄｏｎ’ｔ　Ｇｏがもう最高ですが、他の曲も　どれもとてもいい仕上がりです。なにより　とても後に残るんです。聞いたあとで、頭の中に曲がこんなにもリフレインされるアルバムってこれが初めてです。ピアノロックというジャンルに入るそうです。繊細な、しっとりとした　それでいてリズムもいい。Ｖｏもよいです。全曲とても心にしみわたります。日本では無名ですが、ここ数年で一番の買い物でしたよ！
