Great product and fabulous idea!!
Great idea!! I was looking for something to take on vaction; leaving behind my big bulky Canon case, and safely placing in my backpack - this product is perfect for that! It is made of neoprene and is thick enough for me to be at ease that my camera won't be damaged while in my bag. Of course there is always the risk of the camera banging up against something when carrying it around your neck, but common sense is to be proactive and alert to your surrounding when sightseeing; however, I would still be pretty comfortable, given the amount of stability in the product. The Velcro is double side (I like this in case one side worn out over time) and appears to be super durable & heavy duty; I have to tug when unhooking it.The entire camera is covered by the case. There is no designated "clip" to hook on your jeans or backpack (some other cases online featured a hook), but the Velcro strap can easily be looped through Jean loops or around a backpack and do the job; matter of fact, this could be the idea behind it, but just wanted to note this in my personal review from what I read in other case reviews. Love this product!I have a Canon EOS 70D and I needed a large. The medium was too small and the large it snug with a nice tight hold! Product description & reviews lead me to believe a medium would be perfect, but it was way too small. I have my 18-135 lens on; anything larger defiantly wouldn't fit in this sized case.Hope this helps!

Kind of Hated This
I couldn't find a camera case that would cover my Mark III with a 24-70 lens, and this one was finally somewhat adequate. It was a very tight fit, so a huge pain to get on and off. The tip of the lens part is almost conical (it all meets at one point), so we just started calling the case "the camera condom". There was a good inch or so of unused space beyond the lens because of this design, and had it been designed with an actual camera lens in mind, the fit wouldn't have been so tight. It really made the camera a pain to get out of the cover, so we had to choose to either risk dragging the camera around Europe without a cover, or just leave it in our hotel for the day. Unfortunately we got home from our trip with fewer photos than I would have liked because of this.

great for Panasonic G1 (micro 4/3) camera - perfect for light weight travel
I have a Panasonic G1 (micro 4/3) camera. i took this on a trip where i was using lots of different lens (12mm to 300mm zoom) and i wanted to minimize the number of cases i was taking to protect my camera/lens. This fit the bill perfectly! It held my camera well with my 100-300 zoom and my 12-32mm pancake size lens. it was very easy to put on and take off, allowing me to quickly snap photos. it protected the camera without a lot of bulk. it was perfect of hikes.while shooting i either had it Velcro-ed on the camera strap or around my arm. i could also use it to cushion my telephoto when i was resting it on a rock. a keeper that is going to see a lot of use with my camera when i need something minimalist or as an addition to another case.

The case doesn't really look anything like the pictures but it still fits and does its job. You can keep the case on while having the strap out. This would be used best if you want to protect the camera without using a big bulky bag. Its nice to put this on and throw it in a regular backpack. Well worth the price.we used this for my wife's Nikon3200 camera

Large version fits Canon 5/6D cameras, but its a tight fit.
With a 24-70L attached, there's just enough room to stretch the neoprene over the body of my 5 and 6d's. Fit is fine with a 100mm and most other short/prime lenses. Unless you have a battery grip attached -- that won't fit.Good thick neoprene, enough velcro to hold fast, and reversible with velcro on both sides, and the design allows for a camera strap to be used with the cover. If you're shoving a camera into an alpine or touring pack mixed with other gear, these are a no-brainer and protect against scuffing and scratching very well.

Too small for 5DIII
Contrary to the advertisement, this case is too small for a 5DIII (and likely any of Canon's xD models). It does not even come close to fitting with a 5D inside. With extreme difficulty, you can squeeze the body in upside down- but this means that the straps are too short and are coming out the wrong end. Placed rightside up, it will not even close. I don't recommend this product for any large SLRs.

Doesn't really fit
I had high hopes for this case. I liked the price-point, but it turns out that it does not to fit very well. I used the provided measurements and ordered the suggested size. It works, but it doesn't completely cover the top or the sides of my camera. If I were to drop this, it wouldn't be completely protected. So maybe size up?

No easy way to keep it on the camera during shooting ...
It's funky looking but does the job for protecting my camera for travel in my backpack. No easy way to keep it on the camera during shooting though as it does not have a hanger for the camera strap and the velcro would stick to everything. But it works perfectly for what I brought it for since when traveling I do not have room with my other luggage to also carry my nice expensive padded camera case. As others have said, it is too small for my large lens, but my lens has its own case so works fine for my needs. Great value.
