Indium 53563-0454 60/40 No Clean Wire Solder, 2.7-3.2% Core .032in. 1lb

I do a lot of soldering. I solder about 10-15 electronic boards a week which I sell. The solder joints are exposed and visible to the customer, so it is important to me that the boards are easy to clean and the solder joints look pleasing.This solder leaves amazing looking solder joints. The solder has just enough flux to make soldering easy even without using separate flux but it doesn't leave hard and difficult to clean flux like some multicore solders do. The solder flows very nicely and it's easy to melt (I use a Metcal MX 500P system for soldering).Never using anything else but this solder wire. It is easily the best solder I've used in 30 some years.

This is Induim brand solder, it contains no indium, but it is really quality tin lead solder for electronic circuits. I prefer thin solder (this is thin solder), it tins well and seems to make quality connections. Loses one star for the misleading name

Very good solder! I've been an electronic technician for 45 years, and this solder is very nice to work with, bonds very well!
