Master Tailgaters Rear View Mirror THREE Metal Bracket Adapters for Volkswagen, Audi, Dodge, Ford, Honda

Was quite useful in mounting a self-dimming mirror (also purchased from Amazon, check my reviews) to an existing windshield mount in a German car. There are three adaptors. You probably only need one of them if you're only installing one mirror. The other two you can put in a drawer, forget what they're for, and try to remember that years later when you dig them out (or your heirs dig them out as part of their inheritance..) Works fine. I'm no longer blinded at night in my little 2-seat sports car by the yahoos in huge trucks who have some inferiority complex requiring them to try to light the universe with auxiliary lights in a ginormnous(tm) vehicle that really doesn't belong on public roads. Price certainly reasonable. There is no adhesive involved (Amazon asked), they've held up so far - so they're durable, and there was no fuss installation. I think I covered everything Amazon wanted. Oh - size - they fit, so they were the right size!

This product is good quality, however the adapter that I used for my Ram Promaster did not fit and had to be filed down a bit.

Bought for a Ford rear mirror mount, but the adapter is a bit too small, and does not fit on the mount in my vehicle at all!! If the mount was like a 16th of an inch bigger I bet it would fit... may try to grind it down so it can fit but that won't be an easy task I imagine. Poor quality! Edit: I grinded down the edges, took about 2 hours. This product seemed like the only option for me but I resent giving people money for something so poorly made... if you have any other option, do that instead!

The size of the button on the adapter on which to mount my new mirror is extremely large and my mirror will not slide all the way down so that I can secure it. However, the adapter does fit the original button mounted on the window. Want to return it but have to use it until I receive another adapter I have ordered.

Fit on the OEM windshield mount. Was a bit loose until the screw was tightened. It’s nice and tight now….but I am worried it will come loose over time and the whole assembly will drop since that one little screw is the only thing holding the bracket to the windshield. I did have to tap the aftermarket bracket into the adapter with the hammer to get it in (and it didn’t go all the way in). But I confident that the bracket will fall of at that point. The only issue I had was fighting the screw when attaching the bracket to the windshield. It was a bit hard to get the Allen key on the little screw because of the angle of the windshield and holding the whole assembly in place so the screw seats in the right spot.

Works great, pretty stable and it was easy to install.

Ran into a jam when trying to mount a dash cam mirror in my 2019 Ram 2500 and these saved the day. Made it super easy to convert my factory rear view mirror bracket to accept my dash cameras mounting plate.

This item installation is not like the OEM rear view mirror wedge base that must be put 90 degrees and then twisted back to 0 degree. You just need to use the small hex key wrench to unscrew the bolt on the adapter, slide the adapter at normal 0 degree angle without any twist; then use the arm hex key that came with it to tighten the the screw to lock the adapter. The body of the item is made of iron and looks sturdy but the locking small walls which are designed to keep the adapter from moving side to side are weak. We all love adjusting the rear view mirror after it is installed and that should've been the normal way to afjust it. But this weak adapter side guards or walls will likely break while doing so. I checked online and I couldn't find a better adapter for rear view mirror wedge base(compatible with my 2003-2007 Honda Accord) and I don't know how long this current one will last. So I'll be keeping this item and before it breaks, I must drill a couple holes and add 2 more screws to hold it tight. I can't recommend this item but I'll give it 2 stars for having most of the adapter made of metal(if it lasts 12 months, I'll add 1 more star). If you find another one with a better design, go for it. If you cannot find a better design like me, just buy it and always remember that moving your rear mirror can break it easily.
