Do what they say. not sure i trust them for mobile racks
these do what they say and are easy to both install and to install the kit on to. SO much better than inserting bloody cage nuts! I do feel it would be easy to over-tighten them, especially for your junior techs. In a static rack in a comms room or data centre, I think these are going to be great! which is of course their intended use. However I was planning on using them in event-based mobile rack cases and sleeves where we are swapping kit in racks all the time, I don't feel they will have the robustness needed for being in a flight case chucked in and out of vans. I'm happy to be proved wrong :)

Not exact alignment with my switch
These clip in easily and are solid but on a nether router (19") they don't line uo with slots on router for mounting it so you have to force it a bit. Not ideal. Maybe it's my router. But look nice and are quick but wonder is this a common problem?

There are more cons than pros!
These seem to be a really good take on the cage nut, but there are downsides. This is a Not For Resale pack, so somebody is pulling a fast one. Whilst there are 8 fronts and backs, there are only 4 of the middle bits. These are not designed for permanent fixing. The packet actually tries to absolve the company of issues if you try to move a rack with kit fixed using these. It's also incredibly easy to strip the thread even with hand tightening. So maybe use these for fixing patch panels, but nothing heavier. I'm not sure the price differential to a normal cage is worth it. I can put a cage nut in a rack in seconds, so there is no time-saving.

I used it for helping with device installations in OMO situations. Works well.

Installation was great and easy, I used it on a server that I often work on it so it's easier to dismount and remount. After installation, I needed to take remove it due to a potential hardware issue, so I dismounted it, and upon the second time remounting, one of the caps was stripped by the screwdriver. It's the largest bit I have and worked fine with the other cap, and a spare I pulled out of the bag. UPDATE: The seller responded to make things right, I'm happy for it. Updated the ratings. I of course had to remove it with a flat head, so these being plastic and can easily be stripped worries me. I reached out to the manufacturer but no response. Thus lost of stars as I have concerns about the quality and lack of support.

These are great rack screws. Very easy to install and de-install. Makes a normally tedious job super quick
