Dupli-Color HWP104 High Performance Wheel Paint - Black - 12 oz Aerosol Can

Love this gold spray paint. Easy to apply, high gloss, ultra smooth when dry.. The handle on our storm door was weathered and dingy looking. To purchase a replacement handle we would have had to buy a whole new lock set (cost would be about $70 plus shipping). However, thanks to this fabulous spray paint, we now have a lovely new looking storm door handle at a greatly reduced expense. The results were perfect. Dry to the touch in about 30 mins., so able to spray multiple coats and be done in an afternoon. Definitely well worth the price, and then some.

1 can front side only covered 2 18” steel wheels. I did 12-15 very light coats on each wheel and it came out near perfect.

Not bronze! This is more "gold" than bronze. 6 years ago I bought this exact spray paint for my wheels on my subaru. They must have change the mixture slightly. Without turning this into a long story, I got new tires and the tire shop found one of my aluminum rims was severely cracked. I replaced the rim but it didn't match my other 3 rims. So I needed to paint it to the exact color which was this spray paint. I even found it in my Amazon order history. Bought it again, painted the rim, installed it and it looked off. Standing back it looked WAY different in color. Now I have to spray paint the other 3 rims to match. With that being said the paint is a great quality and still a beautiful sparkle color.

Used this to refinish my wheel covers, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. With proper prep—cleaning, sanding, and using a good primer—the finish came out looking smooth and clean. One can was just enough to cover all four wheel covers evenly with a couple of coats. Spraying was super easy—no clogging, and it works well at any angle, which really helped with getting into the edges and contours. The paint dried relatively quickly and has a nice satin black finish that looks OEM. If you take your time with prep, this product will definitely give professional-looking results. Highly recommend!

This paint is absolutely excellent. It looks amazing and is easy to use. Be sure and follow the instructions to a T and thw results will be great. This is actually a dark bronze like its advertised. Other "bronze" paints look more gold or yellow. Im really happy with the results

Great color dries quickly easy to use. Coverage of the rim.

I purchased 2 cans of the black to paint some wheel covers on my camper van. 4 identical aluminum wheel covers. I prepped and painted them all the same. I used the first can on 2, and the second can on the remaining 2. COMPLETELY different finish between the 2 sets. One set is a beautiful satin finish and the other set is much closer to a gloss finish. Either would be fine for my application, but they are not anywhere close to matching. I will have to wait 5 days for them yo cure, scuff them again, and use another can to spray them to match. Now, i have to purchase the 3rd can and have no idea what the final finish will be, coming out of the can. Also, there is quite a lag from the point where you depress the spray button and the point where it actually stops spraying. It slowly peters out, often spitting globs of paint on your wheels. I dont know how it will hold up. Ive spray painted a lot of stuff in my time, and these cans were the most expensive and most mediocre product line Ive used. Oh well......

Excellent product

A bit sparkly but looks even after a few coats and overall effect looks good on the hubcaps.

Not what I accepted for the price I paid. Does not even come close to the chrome shine. Same as the 99 cent spray

Good works as it should

I used this paint on a mini bike restoration. I sprayed it on the wheels and they've held up really well. Highly recommend.
