Works as intended.
The banding tool works as it should. The cutter handle was mis-located on the wrong side (had to loosen the set screw, and flip the handle 180 in the hole so the handle wasn't against the CV joint) which was easy to do. Basically you slide the band between the cutter blade and the main body, and through the anvil. Turn the anvil to tighten the band, bend the tool over, and push the cutter handle forward to cut the band. A couple taps with a hammer and a drift, and the band is set.A quick tip is to pull the anvil out of the tool to remove the remainder of the band, instead of trying to unwind it.The little red cap on the end of the anvil handle slid off the first use, and wouldn't subsequently stay put, which allowed the handle to slide out when it was most inconvenient. I had some bolt end protectors from a hardware store that fit much tighter, and they solved the problem.

Worked perfectly
This tool, when used as instructed, works perfectly. Be sure to position the cutting end so that you get a full bend back on the band. The band needs to be run through slot in cutter to ensure a clean cut. Simply hammer down reversed band and side tabs - and be sure to position the band so that the band tail is not spinning forward. Also be sure to wipe all lube off inside the boot end and axle groove.

Works well, quality is okay.
This tool is cheaply made but gets the job done. It is not a tool that you would use all the time. For a weekend warrior is perfect, for a pro I'm sure there are better options. It definitely gets the job done. The cutting parts is not very sharp though.

read instructions if 1st time user
Instructions were a little vague on package. Do a web search on how to use. Overall the tool worked great, just make sure you use properly if you only have one clamp and cant afford to ruin it.

Handles fall out. Don't overtighten
When you are trying to use this the little handles fall out of it. It does cut the bands well and to the right length though and it lets you get them real tight. Just make sure not too tight cause I broke 2 bands before I got the hang of it.

Review
Tool is great. Yes the lever for cutting arm arrived loose but it is held on by set screw so it was easily fixed with Allen wrench. Otherwise, there were no issues using

Worked fine
Got this to do the boots on one of my quads, it worked fine. This is not a heavy duty tool, but for someone like me that needs this occasionally it’s fine, and the price was right.

Band cutting removable key broke on first use of the tool
The tool itself does exactly what it's supposed to do the issue I had was the band cutting key that is removable completely bent then broke while trying to cut the the very first cv joint band the tool had ever seen. My remedy to this was take an old Alan key and round it off on one end being both stronger and about an inch longer made cutting those bands a piece of cake. Other than that I'm very happy to add to my tool box.
