Bought for a birthday party activity and was a big hit! Cute touch having ribbons to add to the bookmarks too!

This art scratch paper is amazing! The colors underneath are vibrant, and the black coating scratches off smoothly to reveal beautiful designs. It’s super satisfying to use and perfect for creative projects, doodling, or just relaxing. My kids love it, and I’ve even caught myself getting into it too! Great quality and tons of fun for all ages.

Very fun to share and keep kids entertained. We used for party stuffers and to share at baseball practices to keep the siblings entertained.

These are a great item for gift bags/birthday parties/crafts in general, however one flaw is that they include only 10 scratch tools and 36 bookmarks. I guess they are assuming that 10 kids are sharing the 36 bookmarks...would be perfect if they had included the same amount of tools. I bought extra separately so we could use these in end of year gift bags for my 2nd grader, so it worked out.

The kids love virtually everything with this "scratch paint" on it and these bookmarks were no exception. I couldn't wait for them, though, and it wasn't long before I was doing some "testing" on my own. You know, for science. Here's what you need to know. I did these several designs in about 15 minutes using one of the provided styluses. The stylus was long enough for an adult to easily use. The styluses are also fairly sharp, so, while this product is listed for ages 3+, you'll definitely want adult supervision for young kids. This set includes 36 bookmarks, 36 ribbons, and 36 protective covers, however, there are only 10 styluses. Some other buyers complained about this so be sure to take it into consideration when purchasing. But really, what kid is only going to want to do one bookmark?! They're going to want to do several. To me, 10 styluses seem more than enough. These are listed as "rainbow" but that's not accurate – the patterns underneath have more of a "lava lamp" look than a rainbow look. See photos. That said, the underlying pattern still creates a nice effect when you get to scratching. These aren't overly messy but that's not to say that there's no mess at all. The scratch paint is much like that found on a lottery ticket ... but a little bit chalkier and not quite as thick. So, when everyone's done, there's quite a few bits of black gunk left behind. It's not sticky and can be removed with a dry cloth or a handheld vacuum with ease. I did notice a couple tiny issues. The ribbons appear to have been cut with a heated knife or similar – many of the ends were stuck together. The did come apart with some tugging. This set provides protective covers so that you can protect your bookmark designs from getting scratches. And this is a nice touch. However, there's no hole for the ribbons which is mildly inconvenient. To solve this, you can use a hole-punch or small scissors to create a discrete hole for the ribbon. Overall, this bookmark set is a good value. People of all ages like scratching designs on to these and I'm happy with the purchase.

Classic and a great amount for the cost

I purchased these for an activity at my daughter’s birthday party. These bookmarks captured the attention of both boys and girls, ages 4-13. A definite hit!

I just love the fact that this product comes with little sleeves that you can put them in so they do not get scratched before they use them. They have bright colors and the sticks that they put in there are perfect for it.
