I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and the characters. It kept me engaged from the beginning to the end. It was great seeing some of the other characters from the privous books in this series. I listend to the audio version and enjoyed the narration a lot. She does an excellent job of giving the various characters their own voice, without taking it too far. If you enjoy books with amazing characters and love small town USA, then you will love Right Where We Belong. I know I did. I look forward to more books in this delightful series. Happy reading! Review: I liked it - I've read all three of Brenda Novak's Silver Springs novels. They are all good, but I'll admit that I enjoyed the second one the most. This book is Gavin's story, though I admit it seems to be more about Savanna than Gavin. I like the concept of the main characters being linked through a rough past and adoption. I like that the characters seem realistic and their attitudes genuine. Every one of the Silver Springs books are worth reading. This book is about two characters who meet when their lives are both really messy. I hate to give away too much, but the book opens with Savanna facing the fact that her husband is not the man she thought he was and she's dealing with the fallout from his arrest. Gavin is dealing with a possessive ex-girlfriend. I like that the characters don't shy away from their problems and do the best they can to be mature, responsible adults in the middle of their messes. It makes me like them all the more. In fact, both characters act much more mature than their reported ages, but even that is believable given their back stories. The best part of this series is that the books are connected, but are totally different. The books are enjoyable in completely different ways. This one is more of a suspense novel/drama. There are no major twists in the novel, no huge conflict between the two main characters, and yet the plot is such that you want to keep reading any way, and you like and respect the two leads. That's pretty amazing, if you think about it. I can't say that I loved the book, but I liked it and had a hard time putting it down. Without the epilogue, I would have been very disappointed in the ending, but the epilogue completed the story and was satisfying. The bottom line is this: this book is worth reading. I ended up with two copies, and I plan to keep the digital copy and share the print copy with a friend. It won't make my top ten favorites, but it is a quick and enjoyable read. So far, I haven't been disappointed in any of the Brenda Novak books that I have read. I recommend giving her a try if you like romance and/or suspense.

Another Five Star read from Brenda Novak!
This is my fourth visit to the little town of Silver Springs. I’m in love with this town! Each of Brenda Novak’s books that I read becomes my new favorite. This one kept me awake most of the night. I couldn’t put it down. I had to find out what was going to happen next. Savanna and Gavin are the perfect couple, but they both have major issues to deal with. Their story makes you believe in second chances. Brenda has written another book that pulls you in from the first page and leaves you wanting it to never end. I highly recommend Right Where We Belong. Brenda never disappoints. Her books just keep getting better and better. I hope there are many more books in the Silver Springs Series.

Brenda Novak’s Right Where We Belong
Highly recommended Read!!! A story that keep the reader totally engrossed while making them aware of emotional family issues that most families will never face. The reader will be part of the betrayal, tangled web of secrets, fear to love again, drama, sinister forces, personal growth, forgiveness, love coming from friendship. Savanna Gray and her children are living in a nightmare. Her college sweetheart now husband is arrested for the attack and rape of three women. The family has been severely traumatized. Savanna divorced, takes the children and retreats to the rundown farmhouse owned by herself and her brother in Silver Springs, California. Her neighbor, Gavin Turner helps her with moving in and repairs. Gavin is one of Aiyana Turner's son's from New Horizons Boys Ranch in Silver Springs. He was abandoned at a gas station as a child and raised on the ranch where he works. There is undeniable chemistry between the two but will they be able to overcome the obstacles?? This book makes the reader aware of issues that might have never crossed their minds. This is book # 4 in the Silver Springs series. It can be read as a stand alone.

Love this series! Can’t wait for Book 5!!
This series centers around a small town called Silver Springs where there’s a ranch that is a school for behaviorally challenged boys. Each book features a graduate of the school and an ensuing drama with the female species. In this story, we meet Savanna. Savanna moves to Silver Springs with her two young children after suffering a trauma like no other. Her husband & father of her children, is in jail awaiting prosecution for the rape of several women! Savanna just wants to rebuild her life and protect her children. She ends up moving next door to Gavin, a former student & adopted son of the founder of the boys school. Gavin finds his new neighbor very attractive and becomes very handy to have around. Initially they seem to be forming a bond but between Savanna’s husband and Gavin’s unfinished past, the relationship seems doomed. Will they follow their hearts or will life’s troubles derail them before they even begin? This author has been like a staple in my bookshelves for years! I’m never disappointed with her books. I’m more of a suspense reader than contemporary or women’s fiction but this series has quickly become a favorite! And I just found out recently that she’s writing book 5!!

Honestly this entire series was spectacular. I started with Book two, ended up then buying the other three because I had to know more about these characters. I truly enjoy Brenda's writing and can assure it does not disappoint. You have these really well built characters with fantastic back stories that you almost want it to be a TV series a short films. Love, love loved all four books. Romance, drama, some thriller. Give it a go. What have you got to lose?
