Great Little Switch For The Price
This is a powerful little switch. I bought this to add to my existing network so that I could run some POE cameras and an AP in a remote building and not have to run more than one wire to the building Setup was super easy and I have zero issues to report. This is a great value to increase the connectivity in your network in a small package.

Interoperability for my small home lab
This was the perfect replacement for my aging managed PoE switch. I'm running a DIY Cloud Key on an RPi 4 (very easy to build, with lots of tutorials on the web), and being able to manage and monitor my wired and wireless networks from anywhere what I've been missing.Zero setup; just adopt the switch into the UI app and you're good to go. Warm fuzzies from a security standpoint, and a single point of configuration for everything. I'm only running a few small devices, but being able to monitor PoE consumption—along with the other granularity provided by the UniFi controller—is just awesome.I don't need more than 4 powered ports, and this is built like a tank.I'm very happy with this switch.

Easy to use, setup and reliable
I own a couple of these little switches and put them in separate parts of the house to add POE capability. They’re super easy to set up and use and they’ve all been very reliable.

Excellent switch but runs very hot
This is a managed switch using the Ubiquiti software/management unit and functions well, allowing you to monitor it and control it from your management station (I use the software on a PC). I returned a switch from another company to use this one instead so I could have centralised monitoring rather than rely on varying vendors' tools. That said, this little thing runs VERY hot...they do warn you in the accompanying leaflet, but I even put it up on a small little pedestal to get air moving around and under it. I would NOT attach it to a wall, as you could do given the bottom has holes to allow for it, and certainly would not put other wires around or near it, but make sure they come off straight from the front where they plug in.

This is not a WiFi device, but it's a great switch
It's amazing the ridiculous categories that Amazon asks you to give stars for a device on; despite Amazon asking about the WiFi performance of a network switch, I can assure you, this is a basic, but solid managed 8port POE switch. That's important as this device is not the right device for POE+ and POE is only on 4 ports, making it a lighter variant with less power to go around, but the switch is solid and if you need an extension in your Unifi network, this is it.

Outdated
Not sure why this is still for sale. At the Time I was new to the Ubiquity Product. It's outdated and has constant Pairing issues with the unifi Line of Products. It's A legacy unit. Love everything UNIFI but this is a pos
