Really like the quality and the fact that it’s made of excellent metals for strength and longevity. The old chuck wore out with relatively very little use because of the aluminum parts. See the photo of the old style where it wore out prematurely.Was easy to replace the old for this new replacement air chuck and it fit like a glove.This style of chuck is an improved design over the old one.Comes as a two pack so the extra will go on the other pump I have that also needs updating.Great price and value, BRAVO!

Pretty well made. Doesn't stay on the tire stem as well as I had hoped, but works fairly well. I think a threaded air chuck would be a better choice.

Excellent replacement for your plastic junky one

Replaced chuck on my bicycle pump. Easy to use, tolerates high pressure. Does not always seal when attached to the valve stem, need to “screw” it on to get a good seal. Really annoying on a low volume high pressure tire, lose all the air before the chuck seals. Great concept, needs tuning.

Perfit repair for my air compressor

I bought this to replace the tire chuck on my Coats 60x changer when it broke. The hose barb is slightly smaller, but it installed and works fine with the included hose clamp.

Attaches and removes easily.

They seem sturdy and work the way expected. Hubby is happy with it.

I've got an tyre air compressor that i've had for around 7 years now. The valve that came with it started leaking but the compressor still functions fine. Was about to bin it then found these and thought it's worth a try for £5.It took around 5mins to replace - cut the old one off, clean up the edge, put the jubilee clip on first, push the new valve in all the way then tighten the jubilee clip. Perfect!Went to try it and it works as expected.Something to note - this isn't the usual "user friendly" connectors that come with air compressors. They usually come with screw-in type or the other style of quick-release.This is the type you'll find garages/mechanics use (but perhaps not as good quality). These need to be pushed onto the tyre valve quite FIRMLY then you release the clip so it holds. It works perfectly for me that way but I appreciate it can take a little getting used to.
