The product works great, that is not the problem. if anyone knows what the stuff is, it’s pretty toxic. You can’t breathe it in when it’s in powder form you shouldn’t get the liquid on you when you mix it this last time I had it shipped. I shipped it in a bag, which is two packets inside a bag inside another paper bag when they ship it it opened powder everywhere inside the bag. I’m sure it was all over the truck at some point, which I hope the driver is OK or anybody else that might’ve had that stuff on their package that’s my concern about this because I put in about a return and they want me to return the opened damaged product which the powder loose. I don’t wanna get in trouble for shipping something like that because I’m sure there’s some regulations about it. Because if it’s toxicity, you never wanna mess with something when the first line says if inhaled poison immediately and if you know what the stuff does, it’s pretty toxic that’s what they used to make pressure treated lumber one of the ingredients a warning on the label about an open package and I’m not comfortable shipping it back but that’s what they want me to do so I just hope it doesn’t come back on me and it needs to go on them if something if I get in trouble for it

I'm not sure if this works or not... I spread this around various points of carpenter ant entry, but also used ant traps baited with various other agents (including other octaborate compounds). No ants in a while, but not sure what did it... This 5 star review is really because I did indeed get 2 bags of "tim-bor". Although there are cheaper still prices for buying octaborate in bulk (google, for example, rose mill - but note the shipping costs as well), I doubted I would need more than a couple pounds. Factoring in shipping, this seemed to be a decent price, for me anyway. Actually, I didn't even wind up using half of one bag... two bags would probably treat a tall pallet of lumber.
