2 Gal. Pugster Ameythst Buddleia Shrub

I really wanted these to work...I bought 4 i initially. When one died, i thought ok, I can deal with losing one, and replaced it. Over the season last year. We lose three more. We are now coming out of winter, with Spring emerging one is still alive. Hoping the one will make finally after surviving winter.

Have ordered 5 of these always arrive in great shape and grow good love it.

Packaged well and arrived healthy with some blooms. Let them recovery a few days and then planted, so far they look good.

Received the 2 Pugster Ameythst Butterfly Bush. I was so excited to get these as they were so hard to find.I placed them in the area where I wanted to plant them and let them sit for about 4 days to acclimate. Today I took them out of the original container only to find that the were extremely root bound. They were both in this condition and should have been re-potted a long time ago. Here’s to crossing my fingers that they make it. This is the reason for the 3 star rating. If the pull through I will write another review and update their progress.

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt I had to for this one. I bought it largely on the basis of the positive Amazon reviews ... it seemed that the larger, 2 gallon size got much better reviews than the smaller sizes. So I went ahead and ordered it, and it DID arrive still alive, BUT: 1) it doesn't look anything like what's shown in the photo on the product page ... what I received was very small and had a lot of dead leaves on it, and didn't look particularly healthy (I would use the words "scrawny" or "sickly"); 2) the 2 gallon size, I would have thought this would be a much bigger plant, but what I received was essentially a very large pot, but a very small plant. Had I known this, and given how expensive it is, I would have opted to get the smaller size for less money. I hope it'll survive, but I guess we'll see. You've been warned!

Good size healthy plant

Plant is dormant since I ordered in February but was packed well and the 2 gallon pot is much larger than I anticipated. Plant does have new growth. Looking forward to blooms in the Spring.
