What material can this be used with?

Almost any. All Fittes floor vents are compatible with tile, hardwood, carpet, vinyl, laminate, cork, and more. For Luxe floor vent models, the surface material must be between ⅛” and ⅞” thick.

Will this product work with my HVAC system?

This HVAC-compatible floor vent is airflow tested and designed to work with most standard systems, but it’s always a good idea to consult your HVAC specialist to ensure that this product is right for yours.

Framed or Flush? What's the difference between the Framed Floor Vent [Luxe] and the Flush Floor Vent [Luxe]?

Framed vents have a thin rim that sits on the surface, creates a visible border and allowing for a DIY-friendly drop-in installation. Flush vents sits level with the floor, mounted at the subfloor level, before installing the surface material.

Can I use this vent on floors, walls, and ceilings?

Fittes floor vents are designed for heavy materials like tile and wood. It works on floors, and walls that are tiled or wood panelled, but is not compatible with drywall and would not work on ceilings.

When you say easy to install, just how easy is it?

The Framed vent is easy to install: cut a piece of flooring, glue it to the tray, and screw it in. The Flush vent requires professional subfloor installation before the surface material. See our guide for details.
