Great ink for dip pens.
This ink is solid. I really like how well it holds boldness and sharp lines... even on cheap paper. Super black too. You can watercolor over it, as well use markers. Not all inks can claim that. It dries fast on most paper types. Butttttt.... it's hard to remove from your nib when you are done drawing. I got a small bottle for the table and filled it with windex. I think pure ammonia may do as well. I dip the nib in that for a few seconds and use a paper towel to wipe it down. This trick does the job.

Works like a charm!
This product works exactly how it is intended to work. When it says that it dries really fast, it legitimately does. Less than a minute and any lines that you have put down will be dry. It is a very dark ink as well. I haven't tested it with watercolors but I will say that this ink is definitely alcohol -proof. When freshly applied, you can run a Copic marker on top of the ink 4 or 5 times before it starts to smear. When the ink has fully dried, you can easily go over it 7 or 8 times before bits and pieces of the ink start to get picked up. Side note, not sure if this is just how ink works or something else but if you run an eraser over the ink, it will not lift. I am very satisfied with my product and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a solid ink that is alcohol-proof and is dark. I will say, you need to work fast with this product if you use a glass dip pen. If you let it dry, the glass dip pen won't work. So, just keep that in mind. But that shouldn't be a dealbreaker.

Solid ink, solid bottle.
After a YouTuber made a test video for various inks vs Copic markers I decided to give this one a try. I use this primarily for inking comic pages. It is a nice solid matte black that when dry does not smudge (nearly at all) when Copic markers are used over it. If applied with a pen nib its no smudging. If applied with a brush tip you will get a bit of smudge. This is my replacement ink for Higgins Black magic ink. The bottle design is better on top of the ink quality. If you knock this bottle over you we're really trying to do so. Its square and wide. The mouth is wide and easy to dip. The cap has two indents that allow it to be use as a pen rest which I have found convienient. I have not mapped out the dry times but will update if I do.

Dark and Waterproof - Good for pen and wash
This ink is dark (not watery black like some I have tried before). Once it is dried I can apply ink or watercolor washes over it without smudging. It dries relatively quicker (in minutes). It wasn't too expensive either ($6-$7). My bottle wasn't completely full when I arrived. But that might just be the way the manufacturer fills it up, don't know. The bottle is wide so while it is easy to get ink out right now, I think as the ink runs out it could be harder to load up your pen than a bottle that is thinner and taller.

Excellent color and opacity. Dries fast.
My favourite thing about this ink is the bottle. It's low and wide so it won't tip over easily and has a little internal lip to wipe off excess ink from the nibs. The ink dries fast, I haven't accidentally smudged it, which is important when you are a leftie. Clean up is a little tough as the ink dries on the nibs quickly and doesn't clean easily with water or alcohol. (By design)

Nice
This is the 2nd one I purchased. Great price, great quality ink, ready to use, and functions as it should. Highly recommended!

Great For Inking
I'm an American comic book inker in the "aspiring" phase of my career. I'm not getting regular art assignments, so I have the liberty to experiment with different tools and materials for my art. When my trusty bottle Dr. Ph. Martin's Black Star Matte Ink ran dry and I was forced to use the scummy mixed ink I keep for filling in blacks, I decided to try some new ink. I have to say, this is some of the best ink I've ever used. It absolutely glides with a nice G nib or crowquill. The ink dries fairly quickly, and the blacks are bold. I also love the fact that this ink is versatile enough to be smooth with a nib AND a brush, without containing any shellac that could damage my precious [read: costly] sable brushes. I think that his may be a keeper, at least for now.

Great ink for drawing.
Some of my favorite ink to use with dip pens.

Great ink. Bought this for Inktober, and used it to great effect, both with dip pens and with brushes. I also did some really fun techniques where I laid down a line and sprayed with water. I’ve not actually tried this with Copic markers, but I would be very surprised if this ink was ‘Copic safe’, judging by how well it reactivates with water.. I could be wrong, though.

Firstly, in the picture I quickly brushed some ink onto very cheap sketchbook paper and despite the amount of ink being uneven it dried fairly matte to my surprise. If that had been Dr Ph. Martins bombay(a fine ink for the price) you definitely would see harsh brush stroke marks. I image this is due to it being fast drying. The first ink I used was pentel pocket brush pen and I was trying to get a cheaper ink that had a similar look. Watermans was really watery and then Dr Ph Martin Bombay was great for the price but still wasnt matte and fast drying like pentel pocket brush pen ink. Now this one is fast drying, matte and cheap so I am very happy. I'm currently trying it in a brush pen to see if it will clog or not. I will be okay using traditional brushes if it ends up clogging over the next few days though.
