Worked perfectly. Good instructions included too.
Worked perfectly on my 2012 5.5 bed F150. It comes with instructions and the measurements you need to drill a hole in the middle of the plastic covering the stake hole. It zips right through the plastic. Make sure you set the router and the proper depth (included in the instructions), Because I have a Bakflip cover on my truck, I had to re-adjust the router depth on the inside cut for the holes near the cab due to my tonneau cover mount being in the way. I carefully lifted the router up onto the tonneau mount and adjusted the depth as needed. Worked fine. On the rear, I just undid the tonneau mount and pulled the rails inward so the router would run flat. I can imagine it would do-able, but a pain cutting it with a utility knife. A Dremel tool could likely do the job too, even a jigsaw. But I think it could scrape the paint on the stake hole possibly causing rust. If you worry about that sort of thing, I do, especially where I live and they lather salt on the roads in the winter. Again, nice product.

Works like a charm.
Made quick and clean work of cutting the stake holes in my 2021 Ram's (new body style) plastic bed rail caps. Study the instructions and on-line videos and be prepared to tweak them for you situation.

Works as advertised
Works as advertised. I should have used a regular router bit or tried the Dremel first, I’m sure either of those could have done the same job and those are already in the tool box. Not sure what to do with this $10 bit now.

Wortht the cost to do a clean job of installing the bullrings.
Did the job. Clean cuts in the plastic. I did see what some reviews were talking about where if this was not set to the proper depth, you could scratch the paint under the bed rails, but that's a problem with adjustments not a product flaw. Yes, some of the plastic melts and grabs the bit, but that's unavoidable because of the material you are cutting. I recommend moving the router INTO the cut, not away from it. Use controlled steady movements, and this cuts clean. I don't see how you could use any other router bit to do this job as effectively and for the price it was worth the headache it saved.

Not needed for Ram 1500 Bighorn install of bed tie downs.
Bought this on recommendation of manufactures video for installation of truck bed tie downs. Easier for me to use a razor knife to carefully cut out holes. No need to buy this IMO. Gave three stars as it will go into my router case and seems to be quality made.
