It's small enough to hold on your lap if you're just lounging around on the sofa. Works well with headphones if you're planning on practicing scales in mixed company. Love the lighted keys. Haven't tried learning the songs that come pre-installed yet, but the leading lights seem fun. The touch and sustain are good as well. I like playing it.

The media could not be loaded.  Great value. This is a great starter keyboard with more than everything you need for a beginner. The lights are cool too. Not too light or heavy. Wish it could fold.

I am probably never going to get very good at keyboard, but I wanted to buy one that I knew I would have to replace. Velocity sensitive keyboard and option for a sustain pedal were my bare minimums, and this is about the best low cost keyboard that does those things. Everything below this failed one of those criteria.

I was looking for an affordable Casio keyboard because I was familiar with the name. Because my space is limited I went for the 61 keys. It's a bit of an adjustment going from 88 but it works fine for a beginner like me. The sound quality is okay and there are some gadgets on there I haven't begun to experiment with yet. The kit came with a stand and headphones. NOTE: there is no output for the headphones. So if you're seeking a unit with that option this keyboard is not for you. However, it does come with a port for a microphone, which is not included. I should know better when buying from Amazon that what is depicted is not listed in the fine print.

Love this thing! I've always wanted to learn piano but I don't really have the time (or funding) for lessons. This thing is great because it has a lesson feature built right in! The keys light up to show you where to place your fingers and you can start slow by setting it to only one hand at the beginning. It's also super lightweight so you can take this thing anywhere. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn the piano.

I bought this for my 8 year old granddaughter. She loves it! She says it is easy to learn. The sound is amazing and with the headphones she can practice without bothering the orher siblings.

If you are looking for a keyboard with the basic essentials to get started, this is perfect for anyone. The keyboard and stand will get you started and the midi cable (to connect to your PC) with the eMedia Starter Keyboard software is a must have. I 100% recommend you to connect the keyboard to a PC while taking lessons since it will provide a better interaction with the software.The software contains a lot of material to help you get going. For someone like myself, a middle aged man who played alto sax in high school and always wanted to learn piano, some of this was review. But there's a lot which was new to me as well. For example I know treble clef but not bass clef, or I know the notes and pitches but not the keys on the keyboard.The software starts everyone at a position where it assumes you know nothing and helps you to build your fundamentals. As you play on the keyboard the software colors in the notes on the screen as you play them correctly to show your progress. At the end it provides a percentage to show how much you got right and what was wrong. If you need, each lesson has video tutorials or images of keyboards to show you which keys to play when. Very nicely put together.For someone like myself and spending an hour a day for practice, I completed the starter kit within 5 days. The format is so good I immediately bought the full software eMedia Piano & Keyboard Method v3 and continued learning (it's only been a month and a half now).The only negative aspect I can really think of, is the internal metronome which the software provides. Running this while playing the piano caused delays in the software to keep up with my playing (this isn't a fault of the software, just how technology works in PC's). What I would recommend is to download a separate metronome software (for Windows users, just go to the Microsoft Store and search for a metronome - there's free software out there which will do the trick).Overall, a great bundle and the software is great for kids or adults to begin their journey. The key though, to any instrument and learning style, is going to be practice, practice, practice. If you are committed to practicing, then you will be more than happy with it.

I did check reviews on YouTube before buying this product. Sound is closest to what a piano would sound like. Small enough to transport anywhere outside you home. Me and my son were pleasantly surprised over all. Great for beginners of all ages.

After watching a lot of online reviews, we settle on this models and we did not regret it, good sounds, good build and wide range of options and awesome color key training.

I like the keyboard but not sure the learning feature is better than using any of the apps available on iPad to learn piano. Sure, iPad apps cost extra money. If you don’t want to pay extra for a better teaching experience, then the learning feature in this keyboard should do the job but it will take longer to learnOther than that, nice keyboard, solid and good sound for the price.
