This is a larger tray than the original as seen on TV one I bought years ago and it's by far superior in quality. It is heavier, although it would not be hard to bend the insert dividers. I think it did a pretty good job overall. I tested it out with 2 boxes as a double batch and it goes slightly over the top of the divider in some places. I did have to take an off set spatula to get them to release. I had also hit everything with a good amount of oil spray, but if the batter is too full you will have to do some extra work when it comes to de-panning it. When you lift out the serving tray, you will find that the batter has gone between it and the tray. I took a plastic spatula and munched on it. This double batch in a dark metal pan (per box instructions) increases the cooking time to be about 35 to 40 minutes. The heat distribution seemed fine. I think it's versatile as you can use it for any bar type dessert. It didn't leak outside the pan but it will leak to the actual pan from the tray.

Bought this for a gift and it was a big hit. Already sent me a pic of the meal prepping done in this pan. Not just for brownies.

I purchased this Chicago Metallic pan specifically because I have some mobility issues in my hands, and I wanted a way to have perfectly pre-sliced treats without the struggle of manual cutting. It worked exactly as designed! The Pros: Fantastic Accessibility: The divider is a game-changer. I used it for lemon squares, and it provided perfectly uniform slices without me having to use a knife. If you have hand or wrist pain, this is a lifesaver. True Non-Stick: I followed the instructions and did a quick wash with warm water and light soap before using. I didn’t even need to use grease or cooking spray! The treats popped right out without sticking to the pan. Even Heat Distribution: The squares baked perfectly across the entire pan. No burnt edges or raw centers—the heat distribution is very impressive. Three-Piece System: It comes with the main pan, a flat insert with handles to lift your treats out, and the divider. The lifting handles make it very easy to move the dessert from the pan to a serving tray. The Cons/Observations: Batter Seepage: I did notice that a little bit of the batter slid under the flat bottom insert. It stuck to that middle piece rather than the pan itself, but it wasn't a major issue. Cleanup: Even with the batter seepage, a quick rinse with warm water was all it took to get it clean. Final Verdict: This pan does exactly what it's supposed to do. It makes baking easier, cleaner, and much more accessible. I’ll definitely be using this for brownies next. No complaints at all!

I've used the pan a couple of times now, and it does what it's supposed to do. That is, it bakes a batch of something that requires a 9X13 inch pan and provides evenly-sized portions. The non-stick coating works well. The divider thing is a bit of a hassle to clean, but I expected that. Something I wasn't expecting: the dividers seem to help speed up and even out the baking. One batch of oatmeal brownies I made were done 5 minutes early and all of the bars were the same temperature (I use a quick-read thermometer to check doneness). Others have complained about batter leaking under the removable tray. It does to a small degree, but it's easy to clean up. My only gripe is that the removable tray is very thin and actually bends under the weight of whatever you've baked. It's not a huge problem, but it does force together some of the sections in the center so your perfect little bars get smooshed a little. Other than that, I highly recommend this pan.

How did I not know these existed! Love love love!!! What a difference it made for my brownies! I’m thinking about buying another one!
