This is my holy grail mascara! I’ve tried lots of other brands and I was left disappointed because of how much I spent on them just for them to not work on me. This Essence one is only about $5, but it works way better than a lot of the “high-end” mascaras. I included reference pics of my natural short & scarce lashes and a pic of my lashes curled with just one application of this mascara. One application already gave my lashes a nice length and some volume. It isn’t clumpy and can easily be removed with makeup wipes. I recommend that you give this mascara a try and see why there’s more than 400k reviews! I have definitely been repurchasing this mascara and also given them as gifts because I love it so much. I personally don’t like to get lash extensions done or anything too fancy, so for me this is a great alternative to wearing false lashes.

Absolutely hands down the best mascara. I naturally have little to no lashes, and this mascara makes a huge difference. It keeps my lashes dark, full, and adds noticeable length without clumping. Love this mascara for the price. The only issue is it can get clumpy if you apply multiple layers. I usually have to use another brush to separate my lashes. Does add length and volume

No clumping, goes on nicely, doesn't flake, or smear, especially in Florida humidity. I apply two coats, and see the difference immediately. I use coconut oil as a makeup remover, then wash normally with face wash, and witch hazel toner. It comes off beautifully, no residue on my pillow. At $3.00 and change, it's a bargain. I don't wear makeup daily, only special occasions. I also throw out mascara after six months to a year, to avoid bacteria. This permits me the luxury of tossing after only about six uses. I used the brown as my hair color is dark brown with a lot of silver. It isn't too light, or too dark.

Boy, did I get lucky when I bought this set of three. The price is amazing. I’m 69 years old. I’ve been wearing mascara since I was probably 14 or 15. I’ve used several different kinds. This one by far I think is my favorite slides on easily, stays on through the day. Super easy to wash off with make up remover if it doesn’t come right off I use a little bit of coconut oil. Never feels heavy. Doesn’t clump. It just glides on so easy I couldn’t be happier. I am forever hooked on this mascara. Seriously ladies this one’s a game changer. I’m just hoping with all the good reviews. The price won’t go up. I did not get the waterproof. And I won’t I like the one I have the (green print.) Also, this mascara has lasted me quite a while. I’m still on the first one. Has not dried out at all. I can’t say enough good things about this mascara.

Bottom line: amazing results, zero clumping, easy application, easy removal. Just don’t expect it to be waterproof. If that works for your lifestyle, this mascara is a must-have.

Good first, then one complaint. I LOVE the hue of this brown mascara. It's a true brown that's dark enough for contrast but not so dark it's basically black. It lengthens and builds well. The spool brush is strangely long but I think it makes it easier to manipulate sometimes, so unexpected but good. HOWEVER, if you sweat, cry, or honestly wear for more than 4 hours it is going to smudge. If you are ok checking in and touching up throughout your day, I highly recommend you try it, but if you are going for full day wear, no second thought, you may run into some issues here.
