I bought this camera for my 12 year old for his birthday. He’s getting really into photography and so I wanted it to be a quality camera that was not overly complicated to learn. So far it has been a great choice for him.This kit was perfect. I looked at many different combos but this one had all the things needed.When we opened the camera we charged the battery that came in the camera box with the wall charger and right away the light was yellow. After charging for over four hours the camera still did not turn on. We plugged the actual camera in to charge overnight and it turned on while plugged in, but still did not turn on when unplugged.We opened the second battery and charged it on the wall charger and right away the light was red. We charged until yellow and the camera turned on and worked great!!!I contacted Amazon service and explained the problem. I didn’t want to return the whole kit, especially since by this time we were using the camera, I just wanted to have two working batteries so one could always be charged.Amazon customer service was very helpful and gave me a credit to purchase another battery, which I did right away. I’m perfectly happy with that solution and can’t wait to see all the pictures my son takes!!

Overall this is a nice camera, but it's lacking a very important feature that is listed as containing. My daughter wanted a camera for her birthday that gives her the ability to do close up photos. The auto zoom is not very good for this feature and it's supposed to have a digital zoom and it does not have this feature at all. This is very disappointing as it's the main reason I purchased this brand. It even says on the user manual, which I had to download because it wasn't in the box, that is has digital zoom. We are disappointed.

This package was truly wonderful. I bought a very similar camera almost 20 years ago and loved it. When I got this package with all the accessories it was like finding an old friend. The bag, batteries, chargers (1 for the car), USB, and everything else listed was all in good order. I've taken still photos and movies and downloaded them to my laptop. I couldn't be happier. It's a snap to learn, but for me it was even easier because I already knew how it worked. Thank you.

The camera is a great weight, very simple to use- even the custom modes are extremely simple to navigate. The bonus items are great quality! The tripod/handgrip is sturdy, the battery is long lasting for such great image quality, and the case is nicely padded and feels durable. I'm so happy with this bundle.

Camera was great! The color red was amazing. Came with so many fun extras. It was for my 12 year old nephew for his birthday. He was over the moon excited. He has been wanting a camera that had a nice lens like mine. I have a nice cannon. I wanted one for him that was nice but wouldn't be devastating if something happened to it. I think he is going to have a great time learning this camera.
