209715 V2100 System Farm Equipment Spray Paint, 15-Ounce, Caterpillar Yellow, 6-Pack

This enamel bonds very well to clean steel without extra primer or other steps or chemicals. It is a bit most costly than a few other reputable options but this worked very well for me. It laid down evenly without trouble and it built up layers without trying to run or streak. After the second coat the coverage was nearly 100% over raw steel.

This was an excellent purchase on my end. I run a shop that remanufactures some industrial equipment and I have been searching for a paint that hits all the right marks with me. Most paints come with a drawback; you have to sacrifice one thing at least. For example, one may dry fast, but the coat isn't durable. Or one may have a good strong coat but takes 2 days to dry. This one, however, works well. It has a large coverage area and wide application nozzle; it makes a good strong protective coat and dries quickly enough I can get my products ready to ship within a couple hours of painting.

not Caterpillar yellow as advertised. To yellow and bright.

Be advised, this is Old Cat Yellow. It is a much brighter yellow than the new Caterpillar Yellow. It's almost gold, which matches perfectly to the old Caterpillar Yellow.

Doesn't match as well as OEM Cat paint.

Cans are 15 oz not 20 as advertised, but cans work good just pricey for what they are
