Delicious with pip
Excellent product and price and I disagree with the reviewer who said there wasn't a pip. There absolutely is a pip in these. Maybe they are eating through it without realizing it. Reminds me of going to the "sweets" shop when I was little.

My UK love grew up buying these from the sweets shop as a kid. It’s been fun surprising him every Valentine’s Day with a supply of these. They are identical to what he bought way back when.

From a Bygone Era
I have eaten these since I was a young boy in Africa where I was raised and have always loved them. Caution they will break teeth if you try to crunch them from the get-go!

No pip in middle
There seems to be some debate on this page whether or not there is an actual anise seed in the center of these candies There is NOT. I even went so far as to boil 6 of them in water to dissolve the sugar, but no seed was left behind. Old-fashioned aniseed candies had the pip in the center and the seller of this product should make it clear that this one does not.
