about Jellyfish.

Beautiful, interesting and educational
It is rare to find a short book on an obscure subject as fascinating as this. Not only is the subject explored from the viewpoint of a scientist but greatly enhanced by references to literature, history, art and even Greek mythology. The numerous illustrations are breathtakingly beautiful. The book is easy to read, often light hearted and humorous. Advice on how to avoid being stung by these maligned creatures ranges from spandex suits to women’s tights. Having often been charmed by these graceful animals while snorkelling, the book finishes by the slightly worrying but serious suggestion of world domination. If you find this farfetched, I suggest you read the book.
