My granddaughter was having a sleepover with her cousins. When I picked her up and said we were gonna make puppets that night her reply was" Poppop that's boring!!" When her and her cousins saw the spread of googly eyes and colorful felts on the table it was like sharks sensing blood in the water. Was all I could do to keep things somewhat under control as they made mad grabs from what they wanted on their puppets. Felt went flying, googly eyes were everywhere, and glue sprayed left and right as they assembled what can mostly be described as monsters, zombies, and generally weird creatures. At the end of the night it was a huge success along with the crazy opera like puppet show they put on for me the next morning. Did I say opera? Was more like a cacophony of chaos. At any rate, great fun, would do again.

Cute but doesn’t stick very well

I was babysitting my five grandchildren for the weekend and decided to buy a couple boxes of crafts to keep us busy. The package came with 12. “ blank.” puppets bases, and pre-cut out pieces to make five animals. All three of the grandchildren, decided to stick with the animals and the kit (duck, penguin and chicken) the other two decided to make. My one grandson made a character from five nights at Freddy’s. It comes with extra pom-poms and my cleaners, and they can let their imagination go wild. This is the best $20 I ever spent and the kids loved it.

Such fun and hours of entertainment for the littles.. suitable for all ages including toddlers! . Lots of pieces for the money and I LOVE the simplicity of the glue dots! I’ve already bought a second set to gift!

Definitely worth the money and a really fun project for my 6yr old's birthday party. Although I would like to point out that elmer's glue doesn't work for putting these together.

I bought these to make with my 3 year old grandson. We worked together, sometimes following the pictured puppets, sometimes creating our own creatures. The materials were easy to work with. They included little glue dots, but recommended using a glue gun, if possible. My grandson put the pieces in place and I used a glue gun. The puppets fit an adult or child's hand. Making the puppets was fun - playing with them was even more fun!

I have four kids ages 2-12 and they all loved this! We had to use a glue gun to keep the pieces on the puppets, though. The fabric seems durable and it came with enough bits and pieces that they didn’t even argue over them! Great purchase! Will probably buy again when the cousins come over!

This is a superb puppet set, and has been wonderful creating the lovely puppets with my 5 year old. She needs help with the glue dots, but everything else she has managed herself. Do not throw the box away as there are not any instructions in the box so if you want to create the same animals pictured on the front then you’ll need it. A great gift and lovely to encourage imagination and role play.

I thought there were too many parts for a toddler. Would need a lot of support to make the puppet. Ideal for older kids in an independent art project. Lots of fun for them.

I purchased these for my mum with dementia to “keep her going”. They are already cut out. They have cut shapes of different animals out on a colour coordinated sheets. So it takes a bit of time to organise. But good quality material and quite thick material. The puppets are big enough to go over an adults hand. Sticky dots are included in the box along with a stick of glue for a glue gun. The stick was too big for my gun. I tried using just the dots. No good. I recommend you buy some material glue to go along side if you don’t have any at hand. 4 star due to gluing issues. That being said once assembled they are good quality.

Bought these to use with my six year old grandson when on grandparent duty. I think the product is overpriced as there isn’t that much included and I had to supplement it with my own materials such as pieces of felt. However I have given it four stars as my grandson loved making them. He spent several fun hours making five puppets and then acting out scenes with them for his little brother. Definitely recommend a glue gun. I had a child’s one which my grandson was able to use himself under supervision. The puppets were big enough for me to get my hand in comfortably.
