GO! Fabric Cutting Dies; Hexagons (550-11)

Most quilters love hexies and this die gives the option of 3 different sizes. You can cut both fabric and paper with AccuQuilt dies so you can also cut foundation papers if doing a hexagon project such as Grandmother's Flower Garden. As always, this AccuQuilt die will give you perfect cuts every time. It works in the GO! Baby, GO!, GO! Big, and [with an adapter], in the GO! Studio. It's a great die to have in your collection.

First, I am so stinking excited that the die I just received is the two-toned version which is the newest. It sure makes cutting the hexagons quick because you can see where to place the fabric. This is my second version of this die. I literally wore out the first one but it took over 9000 hexagons to do so. The largest die still works. I tend to love the smaller hexies more. Great value and makes sewing much more fun having perfect hexies ready to go.

This is great! I spend more time doing what I like to do, sewing, and less time cutting. You can use the 1” hexagon to cut all your paper pieces and use the 1.5 hexagon for all your fabric. It works perfect. I just cut out over 200 paper pieces and over 100 pieces of fabric. It took me around an hour

I've bought a few of the smaller Accuquilt sized dies for my Big Shot which works fine. However, I got this one thinking I could use it with my Big shot and it doesn't, it's too wide to feed through. Just a little FYI for anyone out there wanting to know if Accuquilt is compatible with the Big Shot. I'm very disappointed in myself for not checking out the size first.

I was super excited when this arrive, since I'm not very good cutting anything. But with this is super easy to use and I always get my cuts perfect every time. Love they do the 2 tone foam so you can easily know where to put your fabric! :)

Dont get me wrong- I LOVE the Accuquilt system! However- the person who wrote the original title of this die (2", 3" 5") does not know how to measure a hexagon! The edges do NOT finish to those specs! They measured from point to point- which is NOT the way to measure for these! They eventually did change the title-however they kept the same product number (causing a very stressful conversation with Accuquilt). Maybe they need to take their focus off of selling multiple other company's gadgets and go back to focusing on making these wonderful dies and doing better customer service.....
