Gets the job done and won’t break the bank
It’s not Wood. Very light. Wouldn’t recommend moving the shelves while it’s full of records. Also use some wood glue on the pegs to give it more stability. It’s good for the price and keeps all my records from being stored on the floor leaning against the wall.

Cheaply Made for High Price
My record collection is growing and I was looking for something that would look decent and be modular to where I could expand as I throw more money at my hobby and need more storage. It is pressboard style material, puts together easily enough. With 70-ish albums between the top and bottom shelf, the top portion just decided to collapse for no reason. I've have this less than two weeks. With the collapse, I now have a nice gouge in the pressboard. It is barely holding together - maybe I should caulk it?This is insanely overpriced for what it is. I usually deal with what I buy and own, but I couldn't help but write this.Yes, I knew this was pressboard. Yes, I knew it was held together with pegs and 3M tape. For the price, I wouldn't expect such junk. This product is garbage.Look elsewhere for your vinyl storage. I will be doing so, which will cost me more money.

Tip Folks..
For those who find this item wobbly..take a hair dryer on low setting and gently heat the tape - not scorch it..before sticking the pieces together. Then wait an hour. You're good to go! Sturdy as can be

Way overpriced
I appreciated how easy it was to assemble. But I felt this item should be priced way lower. You can actually get sturdy, real wood for this price. But it does the job.

Not Strong, Poor Fit/Finish, Over-Priced
Unless you are handy and/or just strapped for cash, I’d recommend going a different direction. If this is all you can afford, just prepare to do a little work to make them work their best.I’m great with tools and a fairly skilled woodworking hobbyist. Unfortunately, I needed a quick solution to store some LP’s in our guest room, and this was the least expensive option I could purchase and get here before guests arrived. I was also intrigued by the design and hopeful since there are so many good reviews. I’ll be building my own replacements when time allows - I don’t trust this long-term.First, the dowels included are not long enough to properly do the job here, so I cut some 1/4” dowels of my own into 4” sections and used those instead. Secondly, I added some additional adhesive to help hold these units more solidly together. Even with this additional work, the unit’s just not very strong.Secondly, the veneer that has been applied to these panels doesn’t meet up properly at the edges, so the finish isn’t great at the edges. And the panels themselves don’t line up at the edges properly. I know what I’m doing and used my straight edge tools to square everything up, but there are still 1/4” gaps between the back pieces and the side pieces.Bottom line: these are worth $30 at most (I paid about $60), and even at that price, if I wasn’t in a time crunch, I’d be returning this.

Cheaper than Ikea
It's cheaper than Ikea, and it feels like it.Assembly was a breeze, and it looks nice, but it had some dings and scratches from delivery. It got a few more just from pressing down on it to make sure the sticker tape was secure. My hands applying moderate pressure literally dented the thin pressboard construction. Also it does not move well. Even just sliding it across <7 feet of carpet made it feel as though it would fall apart.Still, it's the perfect shape and depth for a record collection and to position an LP player on top.Note: be careful pulling the tape backing off, the sticky tape has a tendency to want to come with it.
