Enclosure box
Good quality!

Sturdy and well built
I was looking for an enclosure as an alarm panel box for extra security with my main alarm panel that was hidden away in a closet. As this is a wireless system, non metallic was a must to ensure no interference with the other parts of the panel and the interlogix panel fit perfectly. As others have noted this is a sturdy box and well made considering the price point. For my use I also purchased the lock set and this worked flawlessly with the box. I used a drill and step drill bit to quickly remove the punch out for the lock as there was no way I could see this being punched out or cut out with a utility knife.

This picture should have been in the listing
Take a look at the attached photo, this is the label that comes on the enclosure when you receive it. Also, there is no removable tray inside. I was looking for an electronic enclosure to put a big 50A 12V power supply in. This Case worked very well, and is very sturdy. I needed to cut out a large hole for a fan. It was hard to drill for sure. If you plan to drill or cut into this box, be prepared! The plastic is thick! Overall, sturdy product for the price. Highly recommended.

Great Box!!! Too Small for Jandy Controller
The product was paired with a Jandy controller JEP-E as a complimentary product. The controller with the mounting bracket didn’t fit. It was a half inch too small top to bottom. I should have double checked, but so should the person that pairs products. I love the box, so I trimmed the bottom bracket off the controller bracket. It works fine that way. I didn’t think it was a reason to mess with a return.

Excellent box at a good price
Quality has improved. This box now has knockouts which are waterproof until removed. The quality of the finish is good with no rough edges. An excellent product at a good price. This box works well with the hinge in any direction but for the most protection mount hinge at top. You might want to mount some plywood in the back for a place to screw components into, but I just mounted my timer and transformer to the back of the box with stainless screws

Great covered box
I bought this box to use in my shed. I have a couple cords coming in and I wanted something that would fit the space and hide my cords. The box looks and works great.

It's cheaper because the "knockouts" are stronger that the flat surfaces themselves...
Pros: Sturdy, strong box. Accessibility is on par, no new access gimmicks which is good. Mounts clean. Con: The frickin knockouts do anything but knockout, cut out, fall out, fold out, nothing. With plastic boxes, I expect and appreciate a level of structural integrity especially when some may still be placed outside or in green houses, I get it, but this thing has knockout grooves for absolutely no reason. Taking a screw driver to the groove then a quick bang with the hammer right? Wrong, this thing will laugh back at you hysterically. If you bang harder, immediate flex and wobble ensues and a resounding crack won't be far behind. Plan your knockout openings on the bench and hit it with a hole router bit on the drill first before mounting or watch the money you saved getting this go clean down the drain in labor if this just happened to be for a contract job. Would I get this again? As long as no one has a metallic box of the same dimensions for the same price or cheaper shipped Prime, yeah. Would I mount it like a metallic box thinking a single knock or a few taps will have me moving along on schedule? Hell no, this thing put me 2hrs behind for all the holes I needed. Keep this in mind and be ready with that drill.

Arlington EB1212-1 Electronic Equipment Enclosure Box, 12" x 12" x 4", Non-Metallic, 1-Pack
This Arlington Industries model EB1212-1 Electronic Equipment Enclosure Box, 12" x 12" x 4", Non-Metallic, is a nicely made enclosure for a light installation. It is solid and can house a battery for a backup electrical system charger. It is also has knockouts in 1", 3/4" and 1/2" pipe fitting sizes on the top and bottom edges of the 4" panels. The latch can take a lock, with standard size shank. There are also knockouts on the back of the box, mounting surface for one 2" hole and Two 1/2" pipe fitting size. There are eight mounting holes on the back panel and four raised mounts for screws to hold a back panel, that is smaller than 11 3/4"x 11 3/4" square. There is a knock out for the locking mechanism sold by Arlington on the door edge. All in all it is light, sound and a good non-metallic box for use mostly indoors.

I have used this for about four years with no problem . This box met my needs to add an outdoor power supply for 12 volt exterior lighting. I mounted it in a "dry" location outdoors; out of direct precipitation and sunlight but in variable humid/temp environment. The power supply is on 24/7 and it seems to keep the box dry. So far no glitches. I brought AC in the bottom, and DC out the top using PVC pipe and fittings. I put a ground fault breaker on the AC feed. The only thing I would,d do differently is a buy a bigger box as it got crowded after I installed the DC power supply.

This is a good quality enclosure. Worked perfectly for my project. The knock outs on the sides do not seem to knock out. I have resorted to just drilling holes in the sides. Maybe that is what you are supposed to do, who knows. Worked better for me anyways as some of the knock outs are quite large.
