Zebra Fuente - Disposable Fountain Pen - Purple Ink - Pack of 6

I love writing with a fountain pen and even more fun is purple ink!!! I spent years auditing accounts and would always use purple ink to sign my authorizations. So it makes me smile to be able to use purple ink!! :)

I am a teacher, and I grade in either purple or green ink. When I saw these fountain-style pens in purple by my favorite pen company, I had to try them. I use their ultra-fine roller balls exclusively for grading. These have a wider point than my usual pens—closer to a .7 or .9 mm. They are comfortable to grip and well-balanced in the hand. They flex as you write and give you the slightest hint of calligraphy strokes. They’re still fine enough to write most scores in the tiny boxes in my grade book, and they’re fun to use to make my students wonder about them. The ink will smear the tiniest bit if you don’t wait long enough for it to thoroughly dry before you highlight over it. However, if you give it even a minute or two, the ink sets and won’t go anywhere. That’s good news for accidental coffee spills on grade books. These won’t replace my retractable needle-point grading pens, but they’re a fun & useful addition to my grading arsenal. They last quite a long time, which, as an English teacher, I REALLY appreciate. I will probably grab a box of green ink next time they’re available, too. They would also be EXCELLENT pens to put in teacher appreciation baskets, teacher holiday stockings, back-to-school gifts, or for school-wide secret Santa exchanges. They feel fancy enough to be a treat, but not so fancy that you reach past them in your teacher drawer.

I do have a weird addiction to nice pens! If the pen & ink are BOTH purple, I'm even more inclined to be interested! I have realized over the years that I'm not the only one with this affliction, but I am one that tends to buy my own rather than swipe'em from other people! 🤣 That being said, I've started buying packs (when I find one that I REALLY like) instead of singles because I have come across several people who are the 'swipers of nice pens'! 🙄 Anyway, these pens are very smooth writing, the ink doesn't bleed through, they're comfortable in my hand, & the color of the ink is BEAUTIFUL! I do prefer a broader nib, but these are pretty good & not scratchy at all. As far as how long they last, I'm not sure yet as I do have many nice pens I've found & purchased over the years. I can say that if closed properly, I've been able to pick it up & write with it even after not having used it in a few weeks or maybe even a month or so, so for me that's a huge plus! Better than I expected, since it’s disposable and a fountain. Good balance of value and cost. Rank my pen purchases as follows: 1) This pen, 2) Pentel, 3) Sharpie, 4) G2. Slight dislike for the barcode on each pen. Removal leaves a thick gummy adhesive. Fixable, but the label takes away from the look - adding wasted time to remove. Not a biggie, but a place for cosmetic improvement.

These pens write really nice. They're smooth, bold, the color is really pretty. I'll definitely buy these again.

These pens work great - the flow of ink is good, and it doesn't stop working before the ink is used up, like some ball-points do. The only drawback is that the caps don't stay on. For a week or so, the cap will give a nice strong 'clic' and stay closed, but very soon after, the plastic wears down and the internal spring just pops off the cap! This is only a problem because this is a fountain pen, and if the cap comes off in your pocket or purse or backpack - you're going to have ink on everything!

I bought these pens to see if I liked purple ink (and I do). They write very smoothly and are comfortable to hold. I'm very happy with them but will probably go for a reuseable option once these are finished.

J'adore ces stylo plumes qui permettent une écriture fluide et qui ne bavent pas . Reste à savoir combien de temps ils durent.

I'm old school and love Fountain Pens. I lost my gold Shaeffer in floods and then discovered these pens and so beautiful to write with and this is now my third or fourth order Thanks
