Bernat Pipsqueak Yarn, 3.5 oz, Grape, 1 Ball

Soft and nice

I was using this to crochet together some knit strips into a blanket. That was fine and very easy to do - no struggles with the yarn. My daughter, who has sensory issues, loved the feel, so I ordered more to make her an eye mask and add more rows to her blanket. After a few washings, it is still soft and bright, but not quite as "puffy" as it was originally or in the blanket where it's just one row. It was a little difficult to work with on those two projects because it is hard to see the rows below. I was also using a small hook and I have a tight tension, so neither of those factors helped. I actually worked with a second strand that I later frogged just so that I could see where the stitches were and that solved the issue.The picture is a bit overbright (flash in a dark room) but you can kind of see her eyemask, the top border rows I added to the blanket at her request, and the join rows.

I’ve made many things with this yarn so far. Pillows, art, etc.,. The yarn is nice, soft and workable.

Was super soft and not too bad to get used to using for amigurumi. For reference, I used the entire yarn ball for my Bigfoot 🙂

I've made several baby blankets using this yarn and absolutely love how soft it is! However it's hard to find, so I was thrilled when I saw it available on Amazon!! Thank you!!

Love ❤️ the way it looks for lambs wool on an amigurumi. Wonderfully soft. Be ready for a challenge as you cannot discern on stitch from another and must rely on feel and experience if using a 4.0 hook. Not sure how it would work up on a bigger gauge.

I like this brand, and it's nice to work with. I wouldn't use it if you're just beginning because you can't really see the loops and where the yarn separates. It's better if you have the basics down then start using it!
