Great buckets! Got tired of always replacing the plastic 5 gallon buckets almost yearly .. the sun just kills them. These beauties are rust proof metal, the lids fit snug and the handle locks them on when upright for carrying. Rodent proof too. Perfect for all the outdoor & gardening needs. These will last forever! I got 6 plus some silicone grips for the handles. Great for fertilizer, soil, feed and whatever else you need them for. No more rodents chewing through bags and making a mess, easy to carry.

I’ve been looking everywhere for a suitable, mouse-proof winter storage container for my garden potatoes, and this will fit the bill (when I drill 6 holes around the top of the container, and 4 holes in the lid for air circulation). The lid fits well, and the handle easily locks it in place to keep mice out. This is the perfect size to store garden potatoes since any larger size would put too much on the lower layers. It is not leak proof for liquids, but that’s a bonus because it allows for needed slight air flow from the bottom of the bucket to the top air holes I’m drilling. It looks sturdy enough for almost any use, and the galvanized coating will make cleaning easy.

Nice sturdy good size Buckets, purchased 1 in 2019, & liked them so well We just purchased 2 more. The main thing I don't like with the recent purchase is the lid design change (see photo) the 1st 1 had a handle on top, & also the rim of the 1st 1 was made vertical on the edge & on the 2 new ones-no handle on the top & also the rim of the 2 new ones have a flair at the bottom which makes it harder to get the Rod Handle to lock on the rim-basically have to use 2 hands to maneuver it into place to lock it. Currently giving it a 4.3 ⭐ due to the design changes (IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T "FIX IT"). ! If the Behrens Company is "listening" (& care) if You'll send Me 2 of the older style lids I'll be glad to give a 5 ⭐ rating for the quality You put into Your Product. MADE IN THE U.S. Of A. ! Arrived in perfect condition, label peels off easily, lids lock with handle, will be using for wood stove ashes,

I love these 6 Gallon Galvanized storage cans. I have animals and I am using them to store their kibbles. The cans are very sturdy and the top is easy to come off.

EDIT!! Do not purchase if you're trying to store liquid like water. The bottom part of the bucket where it connects to the walls (body) leaks. Had to update my star rating to 1 star from 4 They will work for what I need them too but unfortunately the listing and all the photos show the lods have handles but the buckets with the lids I received do not and I have seen other reviews say the similar issues. Listing of product photos need to be updated if they are not going to send out ones with handles. You can see in my photos at top and the inside of the lids. Reached out to customer service and they were outstanding they responded in a timely manner and resolved the issue quickly.

Great Ash and bird feed distribution buckets, doesn’t hold to much to make it too heavy and the lid is secured so a tip doesn’t ruin your day.
