These hand puppets were a great value -- 8 puppets with varied hair, clothes, and skin color, AND you can make their mouths open and close! Not bad for about $4.25 a puppet. (Note: most children under the age of 5 don't have hands big enough to make the mouths work, but my 4-year-old granddaughter had a blast with just having the puppets over her hands. This is a toy she can enjoy now, but will definitely grow into!) The puppets I received had a mix of red, black, brown, and yellow hair, with 4 in dresses and 4 in shirts & pants, and 2 of them had glasses sewn on. The material and workmanship were just fine -- certainly acceptable for the price.

The puppets are adorable and actually larger than I expected. The colorful outfits and fun faces are a sure hit with kids!

Did ok, not the best quality but worth what they charged. Kids liked them but have had to make a couple repairs.

These are cute puppets, and they held up very well with my students.

I almost never write reviews but this was a pretty disappointing buy. The mouths are bent out of shape on every single puppet. The clothes are almost see trough they are so thin. Also I have fairly small hands and my hands barely fit inside so putting on puppet shows for my daughter will not be easy or comfortable. I was happy to see that it was exactly as listed though, 4 boy dolls 4 girl dolls and all different ethnicities. I only gave this product 3 stars because the price was so low that I should have known it wasn't going to be amazing quality. But I would have settled for good quality. Either way I kind of wish I had just invested in a couple Melissa and Doug puppets.

I bought these for my 3 year old as a starter pack. She got a puppet theatre and instead of spending $20-30 per puppet as some of the name brand puppets are, I thought I'd try these out. The price was great. They are smaller and not heavy so they are perfect for her at 3 years old. I am very happy with the wide variety and she shows them to us to ask which character we'd like to see next. They are cute and colorful and seem durable. I believe for this age group these are better than the bigger more expensive puppets. They are just the perfect size. They also can fit side by side nicely when her brother plays too. She can out them on easily by herself!
