I already had a set for myself. I use it to find my purse and my keys etc. I have memory issues and this has helped me locate my most misplaced items. MY father just had an issue were he could not find his keys and if he had this he would have located them in a few minutes instead of a few days. I got this set for him for Christmas. I purchased them on sale but this is a great product much cheaper than GPS chips and less tech but really is a game changer when you just push button listen for beeps until you locate the item. You can check car etc with remote to see if you left them there. I am very glad I found this product. Put one in my glasses case too. Just don't use for a pet. It would scare them.

I read reviews that said they were a big big for a cat and they dipped in cat’s water and food. I sewed little cases out of a vinyl tablecloth with flannel backing and attached loops to the back to slide the collar through. Nor the collar is sideways and doesn’t swing. Plus the vinyl covering keeps it dry. As for scaring the cat, my cat wasn’t even phased by it. So pleased to be able to find her when it’s time for her insulin injections. I will be making cases for 2 others for the other 2 cats. One hides from strangers and bad weather. I want to be able to find them if there’s an emergency and they’re hiding. Only drawback is they are a bit large for a cat, but I live that you don’t have to pair them with a phone. Great for technically challenged people. A suggestion for a case to attach sideways is to cut a piece of a sock or knee high hose several inches longer than needed, sew the device inside it, cut slits on each side of the fabric and slide the collar through it or just tie it to the collar. The toe of a sock should work perfectly but not waterproof. Great peace of mind for this cat mom.

Needed to be able to find the TV remote, my phone and keys, LOL! I use a wallet phone case, so was able to attach one of the finder tags through the riveted hole in the wallet holder where the handle would normally go. Of course attaching to my key ring was simple. But the remote was another matter. The remote is fairly small, and these finders are rounded and a bit thick/bulky. As well, the double-sided sticker they sent was the padded foam kind, which made the finder stick out even more from the remote. I saw one review where the guy actually drilled a hole in his remote, and I see why. The adhesive on the remote didn't work for more than 2 days. I'm going to try double-sided Gorilla tape and see if that works better. As for the finder system, it's super easy to use and does the job. The beepers could be a little louder, but they work if you are on the same floor as the missing object. I would've rather tried the tile products, but couldn't afford them. This one was affordable and works fine with the exception of the adhesive.

I misplace my keys, my wallet, my cell phone, the tv remote of course - and the baby, ALL the TIME. I swear I didnt realize how often I misplaced these things I use and need every annoying day. My girlfriend kept telling me to buy these - I did, and man it's one of the best things I ever did. I use it as often as I used to loose things. Cause I still do of course but at least I can find them quickly without turning the house into looking like someone burglarized our house. They work great. I have found the baby every day at the press of a button, havent had to mutter "ummmm" once when the girlfriend asks me where's the baby.

Overall this works okay. Key fabs are a little bulky so I cant use them for some items I was hoping to. Adhering it to my phone means it wont fit in my pocket and our remotes require us to stick it on. Main complaint is that we bought this for our remote, but have 4 little kids and theres no screw to keep the button batteries extremely well secured. My 4yr old can open the key fab with a finger nail. I wouldnt recommend if you have little kids. A lost remote is not worth the risk of a button battery being ingested.

Recently, I thought I had lost my keys! I keep all my keys on one key ring, so I always know where all my keys are, and they are always with me. But, that's like putting all your eggs in one basket! I was frantically going through the whole house looking for my keys! That's when I remembered I was going to buy a "Key Finder" years ago, but never got around to it! I was so upset, I think my blood pressure was going up! I then decided to look everywhere for a second time. I finally found them in my purse, which was where I looked in the beginner, but the keys had fallen into a little pocket in my purse that I don't use, so I didn't think to look there! If I would have had this "Key Finder" already, I wouldn't have had to tear apart my whole house! Now, I'm even using it for my TV Remotes. You might think that the key ring object would be too big for a remote, but now that I've gotten used to it, it just looks like a little pedestal for the top/back of the remote. It doesn't interfere with my hands while using the remote, because I put it on the top back of the remote. The more I see it, the more I think it's cute!

I didn't really have a dislike. Once I got the batteries put in and the rings attached to the pod likekeychain thing. It was ready to go and even though I hadn't lost my keys for a while. I ended up having to use it within days. You talking about a lifesaver. That was the only car key I had for my car and how my keys got to where they were, I have no idea, but I had to use the remote. I would never had found them where they were at. (I had literally hidden them from myself). I don't even remember being in that area. But long story short, they are small and super convenient and easy to use. They are a lifesaver to have around.

I really like this product. I found it great for my keys and remotes. The sticky stuff you get (like tape) to put on your remote is nice that you get it in the package. However it doesn't stay on. So I glued them to mine and they work great. Now I just need another one, so that I can find the remote that helps me find my keys and remote 😆.

I bought these key finders based on other Amazon reviews and not only am I not disappointed, They're even better than I was expecting. Some reviews said you had to be relatively close by for the fobs to be detected by the remote but I have found this not to be the case. I fitted out 3 pairs of pairs of car keys with fobs and hid them all over the house, across different rooms and two different floors. We did this several times and I set the kids off with the remote to find the keys. They were found without fail every time, no matter where in the house. Great product so far, very pleased indeed.

My mom used to lose her keys everytime we had to leave. I gifted her this and we can now find her keys easily! The battery lasts a long time and we can hear the sound from the doorway. It has a good range for things lost in the house but I would not recommend using it in other contexts.

Perfect for my son who is constantly losing his keys!

These locators are awesome except that they are huuuge so attaching them to the remotes like we needed them for was very hard.. We had to tape it alot and ended up taking them off as they kept falling off the remotes.
