I received my package yesterday and I was surprised as it was well packaged in a cylinder tube. I purchased the laminated version and it arrived undamaged and in perfect condition. I normally do not write reviews but after opening this package I had no choice. After opening such, I noticed Glenn from “A New Song Music” had stuck in a handwritten personal note. The note was thanking me for placing the order and hoping everything arrived safely. He praised how his students found the chart helpful and was hoping I too find it useful. I have to say the chart and its details far exceeded my expectations. Big, bright, colorful and the 11” x 17” is a perfect size as opposed to those small 8.5” x 11” versions you typically see. I would definitely recommend it for someone just starting out as this is a quick reference guide that has helpful practice forward and backward rolls. Thanks to Glenn and I will be spreading the word.

It is exactly what I needed to learn how to play my major, minor and seventh scales. This is basically what a musician needs to get familar with the frets and finger position on the frets. I played banjo in high school and for a bit afterwards, then life got in the way. 45 years later, I am just picking up my old banjo for the first time since then. It quickly became obvious that I need all the help I can get. This chord and fret chart will be a big help. Large enough to put on the wall next to my practice room and be easily seen. Glenn from “A New Song Music”, included a hand written note thanking me for my purchase and had a few nice puns ("Thanks for "picking" our chart"), a hand written note in this day and age, what a Nice touch! I did not notice the Americana design so I just ordered that one for another room. Highly recommend.
