Premium Natural Dates 100% Sagai 800g from Saudi Arabia by MariamPantry

Bought a large amount as I like to add dates to yoghurt, oats, cakes etc., but also want to snack on them. I suppose I should have been warned as the price was less than other sites but now I know why. They are extremely fibrous round the kernel/stone and the outer layer is drying and flaky so will not be eating them but will have to use them up in cooking only. Very disappointed.

Like other reviews have said its DRY. price was good so I bought them wish I hadn't cos it was a waste of money. I thought it might be the nature of these dates to look like this but once I tried it was too chewy...will use most in soaking. Gonna stick to my supermarket choice

Completely dry and no taste. Very disappointed.

Although these dates were well packaged and delivered speedily they were disappointingly dry. On the package it says they are 'moist' but not in this pack. When I checked the information on the package it states that they were produced in January 2020, and were 'best before' until July, 2021. If I had kept them that long they would be even drier. As it is, I will be cooking with them only, rather than eating them raw with coffee.

They were okay, a bit on the dry side, unlike most other sukary dates I've had. I found one infested with eggs too.

They were all discoloured when they came sadly have to take back

Average dates, and I won't be buying again.Some were not good quality at all, but on the whole simply average at a higher price.I will be sticking with Palestinian in the future.

Great flavour and taste, some of the dates were really dry and not so fresh, overall they tasted nice.
