The picture shows the black metal casing and the rubber rings as being included, but there are components on your old blu ray drive that you'll have to remove in order to ensure proper installation. The black casing will have to be taken from the old laser and put on the new one, as well as removing the rubber rings so the entire unit will stay snugly in place and absorb any shock to the drive. Other than that, the replacement worked great!

Was about to toss my ps3 just not knowing but glad i found this part here ive replaced it almost a year ago and still going add a little knowledge from Youtube

Fixed my PS3 so that I could play DVDs again. I tried other replacement lasers that only the bluray portion worked, but not the DVD. This works perfect. Easy install and plays my disks without skipping or freezing.

Works as expected, but did not come with the black metal cover as shown in the image. Had to remove that from my existing laser and reinstall it. That is trivial to do, however.

Da bei meiner ersten Bestellung das Paket aufgrund von Weihnachtsstress und der momentan COVID Pandemie abhandengekommen ist, wurde Kontakt zum Verkäufer aufgebaut. Dieser war sehr entgegenkommend und hat mir das fehlende Produkt durch ein neues ersetzt. Es wurde gut verpackt, kam beim zweiten mal äußerst schnell an und es waren keine Beschädigungen an der Verpackung und am Produkt ersichtlich. Das Laufwerk funktioniert einwandfrei und es macht jetzt wieder richtig Spaß auf der PS3 die Games zu genießen.Einfach wunschlos glücklich.
