Easy Clean, Easy Squeeze Homemade Popsicle Molds - GREAT for Fruit Juices!
I'm eating a popsicle right now as I write this review! I grew up with homemade popsicles and I didn't really appreciate their natural goodness until I was grown. We had the hard plastic ones with the sticks that my brother always chewed up. Gross, right? These silicone popsicle molds are soooo much easier to use, easier to clean and seem less germy in general. I was fortunate to be able to purchase these at a discount to try them out the same day my husband came home with the beginnings of a cold/flu bug. Awesome. I filled the popsicle tubes with orange juice, set them upright in a plastic tumbler in the freezer and left them until snack time the next afternoon. They were refreshing, delicious, packed with vitamin C and soothed any sore throats. Here are some tips to using the molds:• Set newly filled popsicle molds upright in a tall, heavy cup in the freezer. This is to ensure they don't leak. Once frozen they can be stored cap side down in the freezer if you'd like.• They are difficult to squeeze up when they first come out of the freezer, just like other squeeze popsicles are. They have to melt just a bit to release and slide smoothly. You can speed the process a little by grasping the popsicle in both hands and twisting the silicone around the frozen core gently in opposite directions. Letting it sit for a full minute on the counter works, too.• Fruit juices freeze really well! The bottom of the popsicle was more slushy - again, similar to a store bought squeeze popsicle in clear plastic - but it was easier to tip the popsicle backwards and sip the last bits out than it was to squeeze them out. I liked that there were no disgusting slurping sounds with these! These were a hit and were a great way to get some extra fruit and vitamin C into my boys. We'll be making more as soon as the tubes are empty!

Great For Yogurt As Well As Popsicles!
These are great for storing yogurt as well as making popsicles! I put yogurt in them the other day and put them in the freezer for my kids' lunches! They didn't make a mess and made for a yummy, cold yogurt treat!I can't wait to make some popsicles out of them! In the mean time, we'll be making fro-yo sicles!

Ok for liquids, great for dried snacks
Our kids pack their lunches for school each day and love to have yogurt in their lunch. I ordered these spefically for that thinking they'd work perfect. You do have to spoon the yogurt in and it does get a bit messy when kids are involved. I always pop them into the freezer because if you press on them while full the lids WILL pop off and yogurt WILL go everywhere. Same thing when filling with liquids, turning them upside down or squeezing them will result in the spilling. The lid will stay ON if turned upside down, but liquid will start to drip out. so when putting in freezer be sure to prop them up.These are however great for holding trail mix and other dried snacks. We pop some nuts and fried fruit in and put them in our backpacks when we go hiking or on a car ride. everyone has their own portioned snack and it works great.we do use these quite often and just pop them into the dishwasher after using them. Easy clean up.I did recieve these at a discount in exchange for my honest review of them. I wish they sealed better and the caps secured more, but overall its a fun snack holder.
