If your using a merkur razor, Lord blades are definitely the way to go!.. Quality blades, very rare to get any with barbs or anything... Only issue is have is getting them out of the plastic dispenser they come in, it doesn't like to slide out the blade, keep having to pop open the end of it to get blades out...
