Ranger Mini Ink Blending Tool 1" Replacement Foams

I really like these round blending pads. if you get the smaller size of the ranger distress stamp pads, (they are much cheaper that way), these fit right inside the bottom edge of the stamp pad. ranger now also makes a fabulous tin with a clear lid to hold the stamp pads. I love it too. because the round pad is a little larger than the holder that they go on, I find it it MUCH easier to blend ink without fighting those pesky lines of ink that are tough to blend out. I use these for a lot of different techniques. Jennifer McGuire uses these a lot and shows great ways to store them. she is on utube (free videos, yay)

I love these a lot more than the square blending foams due to there being no hard edges and corners. The circular shape allows you to blend so much easier! The fact that you can wash and reuse these bands is just even more of an added bonus. I love how the package comes with 20 foams in it, which allows me to use each one for a different color. Overall, this a product I would recommend! They are amazing quality at a great price!

I bought these before the blending brushes came out. They work well, and I now buy the smaller TH DI cubes and stick a pad under the cube. The walls of the cube hold the pad and I never mix up the colors when I'm blending. For larger pads, the TH DIOxides, add a bit off hook and loop tape to the bottom to hold the pad. Don't mix the pads, even tho the color is the same - the chemical compound is different and it will mess up your ink pads!

I bought this so that I had one blender for each color of ink I had. The pads fit well and work well. My only complaint is that the Velcro part shrinks up, and it forces the blender part to curl, making it less efficient. Fortunately they aren't extremely expensive, so easy to replace, but the durability of these is not good.

I received these yesterday and the quality is nice and they are very well made. Perfect size for anyone to hold on to easily while doing fine work with paint, ink or any other blending or edging uses. The foam is firm and won't fall apar, so after a good rinse you would be fine with using the same one several times. Great product, great quality and easy to use, what more could you ask for?

I love using the mini ink blending tools because they have rounded foam, and are easy to blend with. These foams are good quality, hold the ink well (I use them with distress inks only so far) and with a pack like this, I was able to keep a separate foam in the bottom of each of my 1" cube distress inks, which is incredibly convenient.

I have loved using these blending foams... until they changed the foam and the backing. Basically everything. The old version was AWESOME! They came off easily, they attached and detached from the tool easily and without getting your fingers too inky. But the new ones.... they suck. The backing evening after being ripped off a few times disinterest and then wont stick to anything which miss-shapens the foam and causes a bad ink blend. So frustrating so I have to keep replacing the foams. The newer ones at least. The old ones I have are still going strong.

I found these work much better than the square foams for sponging ink onto paper. If you move in a circular motion, it just makes so much more sense to have a circular sponge. The square sponges worked fine for distressing edges of paper but now people are using sponges to create gradients of color on paper like you would use a brayer for and for that, the square sponges are not as effective as the round ones. You get so many in this pack for such a great price, its super easy to wash them out and use again rather than buying a bunch of wood applicators for them. The two wood applicators I bought that you get in the set they sell them in feels more than enough when you can get this many sponges for such an amazing price.
