Debrief Me Everyday Face Masks - Tight Knit 3 layer Cotton with Carbon Filters -USA Certified - Water Resistant

I have been using these now for two months. I bought two packs (four masks) for my wife, myself and my parents who are in their 80s. They are made of white cotton-like material inside and out with another invisible layer inside which is said to be polypropylene melt (as recommended by WHO). Sizing is fine for me and both my parents but my wife uses hair clips for extended use as she has a smaller face. None of us would choose to wear masks out of choice but are happy with these.All face coverings are claustrophobic to some extent but these are acceptable in all but very hot and humid conditions (which we've had recently in the UK). I can't imagine that any other material would be better and some undoubtedly worse. The cotton material is not unpleasant against the face and it's never got damp. They seem to hand wash well in normal detergent although we've not tried machine washing yetI can't comment on effectiveness against COVID but Government policy is to make people use them to protect others not the wearer. These would certainly stop the wearer from spreading droplets if worn properly covering the mouth and nose. So many people leave their noses exposed, take their mask off off to speak or store it on their chin where it can get contaminated which negates any purpose it might have. Whilst they meet all legal requirements, they are not tight fitting so some leakage round the edges is possible. That said, they will be more effective than the home made, craft project ones in floral patterns that are popular with ladies of a certain age!So in summary, these are not cheap but they are comfortable to wear, wash well and seem to last. Even at a tad under ten pounds per mask they will be cheaper than the disposable alternatives which my local chemist was selling at one pound a pop!

This mask has a lot of substance to it, I can feel at least three layers and you wouldn't be able to blow out a candle while wearing it. When you exhale, the air tends to come out over the top of the mask rather than through it but I tried holding it against my face and you can breathe through it.It's fairly comfortable and a nice soft external material, though I feel that the elasticated ear straps are a bit tight and pull on my ears.It's expensive for what it is though and made in China. Came in a bag for a different mask.

I want this to be a fair review, so I'll start by saying what I like about this product. Its well made, and comfortable except for the problem that follows.The problem: this mask is too small for me. Maybe i have a big nose and chin, but this mask just barely covers the correct area of my face, and if I open my mouth wide the mask pulls down off my nose. Ok for a child or adult with small features, not suitable for me.Also I think it should be more breathable. A double layer of cotton makes an effective anti-spread mask, if the mask is too impermeable all that happens is your breath moves around the mask rather that being filtered through it, thus reducing effectiveness.Also, particularly given the problems of the mask, i think it is overpriced.

I work for the NHS and have been shielding for 11weeks. Now that the restrictions on my going out have been relaxed, I needed a good quality protective mask that is comfortable and unimposing. I searched many masks and settled on this one. It was more expensive but I have to be very well protected as my partner has to stay at home. This mask is exactly what I need. I have purchased another two as they are washable and can be reused.I cannot say they meet anybody else's needs but they are very good for me.

These are much more comfortable to breathe through than disposable masks and the mask fits more comfortably around my face. BUT, the elastic is too short. They cannot be worn for any length of time as the elastic digs painfully into my ears. I'm currently stretching the elastic to, hopefully, make them more comfortable. They wash nicely too. I hand washed them as soon as they arrived using non bio liquid for silks and delicates and left them to dry for 24hrs, then gave the cotton a gentle stretch to pull them into shape. If the problem with the elastic could be sorted out they'd be a good buy

The only gripe I have about this mask is that the elastic ear straps are a little bit too small. I don't have a particularly large head, but I find it too tight to wear for long wothout discomfort. Also it tends to pull the ears forward.The solution is an extension which you can get here on Amazon. Or buy a bigger mask!That said, it's well made, seems like it will be durable and is fully washable.

Unfortunately I bought for my husband and they were a tight fit. He had to wear anyway as he had no other mask.

These are still the only masks I can find that really fit me properly. I'm small female though I do not think my face is overly small. Most masks are too long and loose on the sides - these are perfect. The only downside I find is that after several washes - however careful you are - they do get grubby. It would be nice if they were available in other darker colours. They also tend to get damp quite quickly when wearing them indoors especially now it is colder and many shops are keeping doors shut and heating is going on. It's at this point my glasses start to steam up - I find this does not happen outdoors or in normal conditions. They are quite expensive but worth the money to me for the comfortable fit.
