Fun Gift for History Buff
I spotted this when looking for a father's day gift for my dad, who has always loved history. My husband and I played it with my parents immediately after opening, and we all enjoyed it. It is challenging and educational--a great game for smart people!

A very fun game for everyone. Tests your knowledge of history in a competitive sometimes raucous way.

Who the heck designed their box?
Maybe it's an interesting idea. Maybe it's entertaining. But if you can't put the cards back in the box, it gets knocked down at least two stars. The cards are small and square -- about 2-1/4" x 2-1/4". 240 cards. The box is 7 inches tall, but 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" square. How the heck are you supposed to get the cards and the stupid bell back in the box? The packing material is paper-thin cheap plastic that you can't get the cards into no matter how good your fine motor skills are. Sheesh! My favorite history game is "Times To Remember." Two players or teams. Simple rules. Players try to remember history from 1950 to 1999. Okay it's an old game. But... at least the parts easily fit in the box.

Bought this as a gift and played it at Christmas. Tried to buy a set for myself but seems all sold out. Easy to play, great fun. Really makes you think. Dates are historical and recent so okay for all ages especially if you pair up.

Bought this game as a replacement for one given away. Have played it, in teams rather than as individuals, with an elderly relative with dementia. He could take part as he could contribute, as he was very good in remembering some events. It also stimulates conversation so it is a good game to take on visits. Of course, also very enjoyable as a game played as the instructions direct too (which is what it was originally bought for). Doesn't take up a lot of space when playing , small to transport, and the games can last as long as desired.

This is a great game but I reckon after about 20 rounds you've probably cracked all the years of all the events so it would be good to have the option to buy extra cards.

This game is the perfect gift for history buffs! We opened the box and could play within 5 mins. The rules are easy to understand. There are a lot of opportunities for different strategies to be played. My 9 year old son also loved it. We all had fun. I would highly recommend it.
