Quite unpleasant, very salty
Was not at all impressed with Dal Biji. It has a very unpleasant, oddly fetid flavour, and is extremely salty.

A very versatile treat, whether you eat them out of a bag as a quick snack (seriously, one or two handfuls will suffice as it's filling and very spicy), top a salad, or use it to throw together a quick Chaat with some fresh chickpeas, potatos, chutney and yogurt. Will definitely buy again.
