Slightly off...
I bought this Cherish Punch a short while before the Holidays and only recently got the time to play around with it. Sadly I had already tossed out the package as well as the insert that came with it so I was really at a loss- first trying random pieces of paper to see how best I can get the two to work together and eventually I gave up and went to YouTube! The first video I clicked on- the lady made specific reference to the insert that comes with the punch....even going so far as to say you should laminate it and never lose it...oh boy! I was loosing hope...I may never be able to get the proper benefit of owning this punch....then I got a bright idea: why not search to see if I could find the insert online...BINGO![...]Now in case the link gets removed from this review- it's pretty simple-The smallest piece you can use the combo on is 3.25". And it goes up by increments of 1.75"; so that the next size up is 5" then 6.75" and so on. That is to say, you can start with a 3.25" square or a rectangle 5"x6.75".Now once I understood the measurements needed, I was ready to experiment! Now I should mention that the video I saw on YouTube, the lady also had the same issue I would soon encounter: try as I might, I always had a little notch left in between the design. That is to say- the two corner punches and the one straight punch really do cut a total area just shy of the recommended 3.25"...maybe about 1-2mm. While it may be as simple as having a scissors handy to snip off the little "ears" left in between, it can catch your eye as being "off balanced" in the actual pattern and I can only imagine that the bigger you project the more evident the gap is going to be.The other thing I noticed with this combo is that once you use the corner punch, you CANNOT push the paper all the way(to the lip) into the straight one to continue the pattern. You MUST use the corner/curve guide. If you rely on using the lip on the straight punch to "get it straight" you will notice an inset of about 1-1.5mm-mismatched/misaligned against the corner. Now apart from those observations- these two punches work quite smoothly. They are sturdy and require very little pressure to cut through card stock.I can't wait to use them on an actual project!

Petal Lace is Lovely!
I received the Petal Lace punch today and I adore this punch even more than I thought I would! It is very lovely and punches so cleanly! I have the lace doily border punch and am very disappointed that it doesn't punch out all the tiny holes correctly. But this petal punch is perfect! I am still working on refining the precise paper/card size to get it measured up exactly right. Right now the best small size I have found is 3 1/4 inches x 4 7/8 inches. I have to be very careful to get it exactly right and then line up the punch precisely or else you can tell a little that it isn't right. but that's me being a picky perfectionist. I am sure as I use it more it will become more natural and I won't have to be checking myself each punch as I do now. I love the corner punch too! It looks beautiful with just the corners done and with the border all the way around a card. The biggest challenge was just figuring out the best paper measurements, which I will continue to experiment with to find just the right fit. Overall, this is an absolutely beautiful punch and works exactly as I could wish. I highly recommend the Petal Lace punch set!(I used this punch set with heavy card stock, 20# copy paper, scrapbook paper, 32# writing paper, and a variety of other papers. It worked beautifully on all of them.)

Not worth the headache!!!!
I purchased this punch on Feb. 15, 2014. After I received this punch and used it 2 days it stopped working. It stuck so bad I would have to push it back up from the bottom which would mess up the paper so bad it was worthless. I went to the Martha Stewart website to see if she had any warranty on her products. Well if you go to Martha Stewart website you will be directed to EK Success and from there you will be directed to Wilton Industries. I sent Wilton Industries my first email asking if there was a warranty or anything I could do to fix the punch. I quickly received a response to put the punch in the freezer. If that doesn't work try using tin foil and then wax paper to punch with. Well I tried all of the above and on Feb. 21 I sent another email to let them know that wasn't working. On Feb 21 they responded to my email asking for the purchase info, etc. I sent them my order summary from Amazon that very same day. As of March 13 I had no punch and no response from Wilton Industries. I sent them another email asking them if there was anything I had left out of my email since I had not heard back. They responded that they never received it. I resent the same email that I had in my sent box to them once again. On March 14 they responded back that they would ship be out a new replacement punch. Well today it is March 25 and I am still sitting here waiting for my punch.Martha Stewart gets on HSN bragging how her punches will last a lifetime but mine didn't even last 2 days. The hell I have went through trying to just get a replacement is not acceptable. She should take some of her money and hire better people to handle any customers with problems. I highly doubt I will ever see a replacement. I have to faith in Martha Stewart when it comes to a problem with her products. This is not the first one of her punches I have purchased that have failed.

Love it!
I love it! I needed a couple of try to get it right. So I recommend people to test out on normal paper before doing it on your original piece is better. Also, knowing what the limit of papier thickness that this punch can go through without blocking is important if you don't what to ruine what you are doing. I tried it out on my papers and artbooks that don't meet Marthas Stewart recommendation size andt once I know how to position and adjust it, every paper can fit perfectly. It's like doing a little bit of math, no big deal. You have the left and right to help you position you punch to make it perfect, so you just have to test how many space you have to leave for each punch to fit.I posted a photo to show how it came out for me. My paper was not one of the sizes that Martha recommended but it still worked out just beautifully!
