Very satisfactory!! No dust

Chalk was so hard & brittle it did not leave a solid imprint or very readable impression on my childs black board .. About 50 % of it was broken already in small pieces right out of the pack ..very unsatisfied , Had t o return even though i'd been happy had the chalk been less hard & brittle .. Nothing like the chalk back in my school days

So honestly, I bought this chalk to put in a jewelry box to help stop tarnish. I thought it was kind of weird that the sticks were all cut in half but that’s fine because I just needed small bits anyway.

Taste is plasticy. Definitely Not dust free. Some were broken but that was not a big deal for me as I was going to eat them.

It's very good, the kids love it, but don't watch them eat it because they say it tastes good.🙆

I purchase a fair amount of products via Amazon.com, and while I always read other user's reviews, I almost never leave reviews myself. This item, however, moved me to leave a review and warn other potential buyers away from this product. The chalk arrived in fine condition, but even the act of simply opening the manufacturer's box caused approximately one-third of the chalk sticks to break. Upon use, this chalk breaks almost immediately upon contact with my greenboard surface. Being male, I thought perhaps I was just being too forceful with it (I am known for exerting a bit too much force on inanimate objects from time to time), so I asked my wife to write something on the chalkboard without telling her why. I didn't want her to have any preconceived notions about the chalk, but it didn't take long for me to see that she wasn't going to have any better luck than I had. In her attempt to write her name on the chalkboard, she broke two new sticks of chalk and then one of the remainder pieces a second time. So, it wasn't me; this chalk is simply that bad. The sole reason for this review is to hopefully save others from the frustration and wasted money we have experienced trying to utilize this product. If only one person decides to purchase a different product because of this review, I will feel my time writing this was not wasted. Sherrick

I’m obsessed with eating only this brand of chalk
