Dell WD19 USB-C Dock with 130W Power Adapter (Renewed)

I recently had an upgrade of my work laptop, which of course means less ports on the thing.So decided to pay out and get a good dock, rather then a number of hdmi and usb splitters.This is being used as the power supply of my laptop, and is connected to 3 monitors, a keyboard, a mouse and a webcam and on occasion I'm plugging in a headset as well.Running this 9 to 5, and often into the evening, every weekday. So far no issues, not even a blip.Most it's done is spin up what I'm guessing is an integral fan every now and then to keep cool.Very glad I made the switch to this

Works out of the box on Ubuntu and Windows.Easy firmware update and great compatibility.Multiscreen work improves productivity with 20 to 40.For IT professionals and consultants, it is paid back in 2 hours work.New or Amazon refurbished, it is a great value.

The laptop docking station was sent with the wrong power adapter in the box that was never going to fit, making it completely unusable!This throws into doubt any of the suggestion that this was properly and thoroughly tested, as surely that would have been noticed if all the component pieces had been tested together?Additionally, I would not describe the unit I received as being 'excellent' in conditon. Whilst perhaps being slightly picky, there was noticable scuffing on the dock in various places that was easily visible. I still need a docking station, but I don't think I'll be ordering another renewed product based on this experience!

Perfect product great price

In general it’s a good product. It works exactly as advertised. The main fault, at least with mine, was a very stiff usb-c cable that stopped working for displaying video after a couple months. I replaced it using a purchased from another popular online marketplace (£30) and now it works great again, but obviously I’m not thrilled that I needed to make a repair / replacement on my dock so quickly after purchase.

Is what it said it was picture on web was perfect to know it was the right item

Initially very pleased with this purchase, was going to order more! But after initial use once or twice the unit has become unresponsive and dud. Unfotunately I was too busy to return it within the returns window.

Battered would be a better description... not even cleaned or updated to current Dell firmware. Clearer description would be: well used but functional
