I was looking for a new set of workout headphones that are an over-ear design with great bass response and clarity through the mids and highs. I stumbled across these while doing my searching and was impressed with the ratings and reviews they were receiving. I decided to purchase these on the idea I have spent twice as much on headphones in the past and what is the worst that could happen. The packaging was great, and I felt I have a real quality item in front of me. The containing box is thick with a magnetized flap design that keeps the box closed. The interior of the box had a cutout for the carrying case and headphones, and again I was impressed. These details may seem small, but I have found these subtle things make an item stand out.The headphones themselves look great and have a genuine feel for quality. The padding is sufficient, and the earcups are very comfortable. The battery life is good, and I have yet tho have them die on me. I have been told the call quality is fine, and I could be heard with no issues. The sound is amazing, and unexpected. I could not believe how good all the sound ranges were and the idea they were less than $100. I even grabbed my wife as she walked by and was like "Is it me or is this unreal?" She laughed at me and agreed they were abnormally good.I currently own the Monster iSport Freedom, SOUL Electronics SC21WPK Combat+ Army Green, and now these. These are my first pick every time no matter what it is I am doing, quite a tall task given the competition.Lastly, I take the time to write my reviews in an effort to help people who like the details that I can think of. I found these after doing some research for a set of replacements for my wife's Beats On Ear Headphones I bought for her back in 2014. I knew when I bought the Beats that I was paying for a name and got them because they were colorful and had a nice sound; ridiculous price but a decent sound none the less. In comparison these Ghostek soDrops are spectacular. The cost versus quality (both sound and build) is completely one-sided. This headset can go toe to toe with the $200 and $300 cans any day.The sound quality is probably the one feature that stood out to me the most. My wife's Beats lost a fight with our 7 year old and she'd been bumming my Sony MDRV55's and my Sol Republic Tracks; both awesome sets of cans. The Ghosteks have more bass than my Sol Republics and equal clarity to my Sony's. I was worried her Beats had clouded her judgement and she wouldn't like these because of the price and the super simple styling. After owning them for a few weeks now, she's completely forgotten about the overpriced Beats.The build quality on this product is top notch. The surfaces feel finished and the overall construction feels sturdy. They have a solid weight to them, but they don't feel cumbersome in use. I was worried the square over the ear style would be an issue, but neither of us have any complaints. The cups feel soft and don't warm up your head. The Bluetooth feature is honestly icing on the cake. The pairing process is painless, and the dual pairing feature is super convenient. You can connect your laptop while watching Netflix and still be able to take a call on your phone without having to continually re-pair the devices. Overall an amazing buy.

Looking for a pair of Bluetooth headphones under $100? These may be what you are looking for.Before these headphones, I had the Beats Solo2 wired headphones. The sound quality of the Solo2 were better than the Ghostek soDrop model, but the Beats only lasted me 18 months. To compare these headphones with the Solo2, they have a decent sound quality and build. They connect to my phone automatically via Bluetooth, and emit a good amount of sound and bass. I can't turn the volume all the way up because it hurts my ears, and other people around you will be able to hear your music if you have these headphones too loud.I've had these headphones for 2 months now and they are definitely worth the money. The build quality is great for what you would pay. I'm a college student and I'm on a budget, so I didn't want to buy anything over $100. They are extremely comfortable and loud enough for plane rides. The headphones come with a case, micro-USB charging cable, and an auxiliary cord which I have never used.The battery of these headphones usually lasts around 10 hours for me.These earpieces of these headphones can pivot in all sorts of angles which allowed me to find the best fit for me.Overall, I would recommend these headphones to anyone looking for something very affordable, wireless, and decent sound quality.
