For Air Conditioners, Freezers, Ice Makers, Washing Machines or any Large Appliance. Protect your appliance from HIGH or LOW voltage (90 VAC) by interrupting the current flow. Once the voltage returns to normal, the wait signal will on for 4 minutes. After this period, the NORMAL light will turn on which will allow the current to flow.

A must to protect the air conditioners units from electric power fluctuations in my area.
The product performs as expected. We are facing various power service interruptions in the area and if the unit was working when the electric power went down you must unplug the air conditioner unit to protect it when the electric power was established. With this you don't have to worry anymore.

Helped save me buying a new freezer.
In the coastal town where I live, the power is less than reliable, and it's hard on appliances. So I was upset, but not surprised when my just-out-of-warranty freezer thawed recently and I had to toss most of its contents.. I assumed that a power spike had fried the freezer and was making preparations to replace it. But I, mostly by accident, unplugged it for a bit and plugged it back in, and was surprised when it promptly refroze and seemed to work. I didn't trust it with food for a few weeks, but I finally figured out from some internet research that the electronic control board had probably been temporarily glitched by a power spike or brownout. Turning it off for a bit and turning it back on reset the board. Still, I was reluctant to trust a freezer full off food to it after the problems. But turning it off after a power problem, and then, after a delay of several minutes, is one of the two major functions of this device (the other being to act as a surge protector). This allows many appliances to ride out minor power issues and restart in an orderly way that lets them bypass glitches, and it's perfect for our spotty power, where major failures are rare, but minor brownouts or "blip" interruptions of a few seconds are fairly common. It's a cheap (if not completely fool-proof) insurance against real damage to the freezer and its contents.

Works great!
Order this for my appliances. After Hurricane Maria, ups and downs and fluctuations on electric power killed lamps, appliances and inverters. This item protect them perfectly. Thanks!!

So far, so good
So far, so good. Some of the reviews about this product and similar had me worried about its function, and low performance as a 'surge' protector.I recently had a $5 fuse blow on my refrigerator, costing me a $400 repair bill. After talking with the repair guy and doing some research, a surge protector will do a good job protecting circuit board / electronics, etc. A brownout protector will do a good job to protect compressors and electric motors.I decided that I should protect my refrigerators with a brownout protector. I hooked them up and waited. Nothing, nothing, nothing. Just running fine. I was waiting for any sign that they are actually helping. Then I noticed all the temperature settings were reset on my refrigerator. My house didn't lose power, so the other possibility is that the Brownout protected did its job and turned off for 4 minutes.I consider this a success.

Saved my refigerator
The first day I plugged the conditioner in, we had a major power surge, Having the refrigerator plugged in to the conditioner saved the refrigerator. The conditioner is no longer usable as it burnt out but I would rather replace it than the refrigerator.

Excellent product support
Product support was awesome. One of the preventers shorted and failed but the seller refunded the purchase price. The other preventer still works as well as the 1800 watt units. These unite work well in the Bahamas where we have constant power outages and brow outs.

Voltage Protector
I bought two of these about a year ago and use them to protect my refrigerators. I have had several times where the voltage fluctuated due to storms and they did operate correctly. As described, there is a few minutes before they reset to allow power back to the appliance.
