MS4091 91-Piece Drilling and Driving Mixed Set with Included Case for Applications in Wood, Metal, Masonry

This is a pretty nice set! It covers most of what I need on a regular basis, plus some weird ones that are harder to find in other sets. It includes multiple phillips #2 bits, which is nice since those seem to disappear so often. But the biggest plus for me is the inclusion of a handful of metric hex bits. I specifically got this set to take the fairings off of a Japanese motorcycle, and the 5mm hex was easily my most used bit while also being impossible to find locally. It includes a ratcheting screwdriver - it's cheap but kind of a nice bonus if you just need a screwdriver and it's sitting in the case. The case also feels very secure, the plastic is cheap but it latches tightly and seems like it'll hold everything in place. The bits each are held by a rubber piece that pops in and out of its slot, so you're much less likely to bump the case and suddenly have all your bits rattling around inside the next time you open it up. I haven't used any of the drill bits yet, but they look to be fairly nice quality. Jury's still out there, though. My one complaint with this set is that when it came in, the outside of the case and the packaging were covered in an excessive amount of machine oil. Not an issue once I wiped it down with some alcohol, but still pretty annoying. For the money, this is a really good deal with a lot of variety and solid build quality. Highly recommend!

Great comprehensive set of bits and drills. Really like the hand bit holder as accessory. Push the drills out before taking them out to keep your fingers safe.

This is pretty much what you’d expect from Bosch: well-made, professional, and cleanly executed. The bits themselves are good quality, perform as they should, and I have zero complaints about how they actually work. Where this set falls down is organization and usability. Bit layout makes quick use harder than it should be The drill bits are laid out logically by material and size, which is great. The problem is with the driver bits. Phillips, Torx, and other bits feel oddly scattered throughout the case instead of being grouped in a way that makes quick selection intuitive. It comes across less like thoughtful organization and more like everything was arranged simply to fit as tightly as possible. On top of that, the bit holders are very tight, and so are the slots they sit in. Either one on its own would be fine, but having both makes grabbing and returning bits slower than it should be — especially if you’re trying to work efficiently and keep things organized. Ironically, despite how tight everything fits, several bits were loose in the case when I opened it, likely from shipping. So it’s tight when you’re using it, but not tight enough to prevent movement in transit. Good features, limited variety The magnetic bit holder is a nice inclusion and works well. The case itself is also solid — durable, well-built, and the latches close securely. That said, while this set covers the basics, it doesn’t include every size or variation you might want. That’s not unexpected for a combo drill/driver kit, but if you’re used to larger driver-only sets with extensive bit options, this will feel a bit limited by comparison. Final thoughts This is a high-quality bit set with good performance and a durable case. If you value Bosch build quality and want a compact, professional kit, it delivers. Just don’t expect fast, intuitive access to bits — the organization and tight tolerances slow things down more than they should. 4 stars because of its excellent quality and durability, held back by awkward organization and overly tight bit retention.
